📢 Important Update Regarding Direct Billing
Effective October 1st, 2026
Due to ongoing issues and changes with insurance companies, I will unfortunately no longer be able to offer direct billing for massage therapy appointments.
Moving forward, payment will be required at the time of service, and you will be provided with a detailed receipt that you can self-submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
I understand that this may be an inconvenience, and I am truly sorry for the change. I know how convenient direct billing has been for many of you, and this was not a decision I made lightly.
Thank you so much for your understanding, patience, and continued support of my small business. ❤️
If you have any questions about how this will work, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Your Lymphatic System Deserves More Than a Trend
Lymphatic drainage is not appropriate for everyone. Certain medical conditions may make treatment unsafe or require referral to a healthcare professional with more advanced training.
Before treatment, I need to understand your health history and assess whether lymphatic drainage is appropriate for you. If your condition falls outside my current scope of practice, I may decline treatment or refer you to another qualified practitioner. This is part of providing safe, responsible care.
I am continuing my education in lymphatic drainage, but the full training is extensive, costly, and requires international travel. As I complete additional levels, I will be qualified to treat a broader range of conditions.
Lymphatic drainage has become increasingly popular and, when performed appropriately, can be a gentle and beneficial treatment for certain clients. However, it is not simply “a gentle massage.” Safe treatment requires knowledge of anatomy, physiology, the lymphatic and circulatory systems, pathology, contraindications, and appropriate techniques. Practitioners must also know when treatment should be modified, avoided, or referred.
Acute infections, suspected or active blood clots, certain cardiac conditions, and unexplained swelling may require medical clearance or make treatment inappropriate. Because swelling can have many causes, treating the symptom without understanding the underlying issue may be unsafe.
As a Registered Massage Therapist with specialized training in lymphatic drainage, I assess each client, review their health history, screen for contraindications, and determine whether treatment is appropriate.
If you have a specific medical condition or concern, please contact me before booking. I would rather discuss your situation in advance than have you arrive for an appointment and be unable to treat you.

Important Appointment Policy Update
To my valued clients,
I truly appreciate each and every one of you who respect my time and keep your appointments. Unfortunately, I have experienced an increasing number of no-shows, and this has made it necessary to update my booking policy.
Effective immediately, I will have zero tolerance for missed appointments without notice. If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment, you will be required to pay the full fee for that missed appointment before you will be permitted to book another.
I understand that life happens—illnesses, family emergencies, and unexpected situations can arise. I have always tried to be compassionate and accommodating with last-minute cancellations when circumstances are beyond your control, and I will continue to approach those situations with understanding.
However, simply not showing up without any communication leaves appointment time that could have been offered to another client and has a significant impact on my business.
Thank you for understanding, respecting my time, and helping me continue to provide the best care possible. I appreciate your support and look forward to seeing you at your next appointment
For all of my Esterhazy clients. Please know that no matter which way you come there is construction so please allow yourself extra time to get to langenburg.
