Why we use DP4 for microneedling (and not just “any pen”)

Not all microneedling is the same.

Dermapen 4 creates up to 1,920 vertical micro-channels per second. The needles go straight in and out — they don’t drag or tear the way older rollers and cheaper pens can.
That means:
• more controlled collagen stimulation
• less unnecessary trauma
• shorter treatment time
• typically faster recovery
• better delivery of professional serums into the skin

DP4 also has a dedicated scar setting (up to 3.0 mm) with automatic depth and speed calibration. That’s why we use it for texture, acne scarring, enlarged pores, pigmentation concerns, and overall skin quality — not just a “glow facial.”
