TRUST THE PEACE.

Often, new invitations from the Lord come at inconvenient times. They feel uncomfortable—and sometimes downright impossible.

When I received a recent invitation to travel to El Salvador and Honduras, I found myself in that exact space. An internal tug-of-war began. I knew there was peace on going, yet I was uncomfortable with the unknown details and how little I knew about either country.

Naturally, we run from discomfort and assume, this can’t possibly be God.

But I’m learning more and more that our intellectual reasoning is NOT the voice of God. The Lord wants to grow our faith, love and trust. He invites us into uncomfortable places because He wants to reveal more of Himself.

He wants the fear of lack, the fear of man and even the fear of death to die within us. He challenges the beliefs and feelings that keep us standing safely on the shore. He calls us to jump in over our heads—to the place where we must trust Him for everything.

These muscles grow through radical obedience.

When you say, “Yes, Lord,” you position yourself to carry His influence to Kings and become the hands and feet of Jesus. That place of surrender is where the treasures are found—where miracles unfold and healing is released.

True leadership serves sacrificially, with no strings attached and no hidden motive to receive something in return.

I watched the pastors in El Salvador lead and serve their region with that kind of purity and humility. Honestly, it was beautiful and refreshing to witness. There was no fighting for recognition, no creating unnecessary problems and no competition—just men and women working together to bless, strengthen and equip the Church.

It was an incredible honour to speak into their lives and serve alongside these amazing, humble men and women of God.

I am so thankful I trusted the peace and said yes.

Sometimes I can procrastinate over doing the things that I KNOW benefit me or those around me. It’s so weird— the best of the best of us will resist the goodness available. Anyone else do that?! 🙋‍♀️

I’m excited to be with the church in El Salvador & Honduras soon, pouring into and training leaders!

Sometimes the doors the Lord opens are unexpected and even uncomfortable to walk through but we can trust there is great purpose when He sends us— whether it’s to nations or to our next door neighbour. You carry a light they need! Just say yes and the Lord will take care of the details.

Praying the Lord does everything He desires through our teaching team, for His protection and that we simply stay obedient to His leading. If you think to pray for me I so appreciate it. 🙏🌎
