Killam Legion monthly market

Hi all. Starting to organize what we need for the October Halloween market party. Does anyone have any extra Halloween decorations they'd be willing to donate so we can decorate the whole building? I'd like to carry the Halloween theme to both floors since we'll have a full house for vendors, both upstairs and downstairs.
Thanks in advance.

Working on your October 20th market line up.
Here's who we have so far. October market is sold out. Remember it's free to come in and shop and you do not need to be a Legion member to attend any of the Legion events.

Getting ready for the October 20th Killam Legion monthly market

We're going to have lots going on. A decorated building for Halloween. Hopefully you all love it. Lee (who takes care of the bar downstairs on market day) is helping me with the decorations.

All the vendors are encouraged to dress up and decorate their tables/spaces to win $25 Killam Kash.

And I'm building the 'guess the number of candy in the bowl/bucket' contest. It's not full yet but this is what I've got so far.

You must come down to the market to put in your guess to win the big bucket of candy. (There is about $100 worth of candy in there). You don't need to be present at the end of the day though as I will contact the winner.

Sponsored by Sweets by Snookie and the Outdoor Piper.

Lylas McKnight from SPIRIT paranormal group would like to do a paranormal investigation somewhere in Killam after the market. At about 4 pm. There would be a cost for anyone who wanted to join in. Does anyone know of a place that has rumors of being haunted?

I'm starting a waiting list for the October 20th market. Put your name below if you want to be on the list. Life happens and sometimes vendors just can't make it to a market that they've signed up for.

So with that, I like to have the building full with all 30 tables filled with wonderful people who appreciate the customers that we have come through the Killam Legion monthly market

Tables are $15 each.

Vendors are getting ready for our spooky Halloween market Tuesday October 20th. Come down to the Killam Legion between 10 and 3. Guess the number of candy for the candy prize. Pick your favorite Halloween dressed and decorated vendor. Have some pizza for lunch. Get some snacks or baking treats from our vendors or perhaps some jewelry, game pieces, art, bookmarks, cards, a new journal, Halloween decorations, handcrafted items, candles, health support and beauty products, paranormal swag, woolen made clothing items (because winter is coming whether we like it or not), men's items, craft kits, Watkins products, or woodworks.

Everything is curated with our customers in mind. Hopefully you love the products that we are bringing as much as we love making them for you.

Sherry Blais with Fifth Avenue Jewellery Collection is going to be at all of our Killam Legion monthly market markets this year. She brings new stuff each time too. Check out her page.

Local farm stand called Sweet Harmony Farm stand will be at all of our Legion markets this year (except December as she makes made to order treat trays in December). Their farm is located just 10 minutes south of Killam and they will be bringing a variety of breads, mini loaves , cookies, nuts and bolts and other awesome products.

Karma Holoboff also brings Watkins products too. Watkins has been around since 1868. Any company that's been around that long has to be good.

By the way, their farm stand officially opened at their farm August 28th. Watch for new items each month at the Killam Legion monthly market and at their farm stand. Follow them on Facebook.

Mama Jude's Studio - Judy Taralson who does repurposed jewelry, joins us for all of the Killam Legion monthly market except August. She's so talented. She even repairs jewelry pieces for you too.
