Happy Valentine’s Day 💌 let’s talk about love ❣️ The primary word for friendship love is Philia (φιλία), an Ancient Greek term for affectionate, platonic, and loyal love. It represents a “side-by-side” bond, often described as brotherly love or deep camaraderie, which contrasts with romantic love (Eros) by focusing on mutual respect, shared values, and trust. This is my favourite kind of love and it is amazing to witness best friends talk about each other with such affection. 🥰
