Acne tends to make us over think everything and wonder what will and won’t break us out. At the end of it, listen to your body. Do what feels good and nourishing. Stop pushing yourself so hard when you’re burnt out. Have the treats that make you have and learn the balance of fun while still nourishing your body 🤍 here are my top tips

🤍Improving digestion will heal your gut at a deeper level. Over supplementing will stress your digestive system and cause more harm than good. Focus on whole foods. Only supplement gaps.
🤍Regulating your nervous system is one of the best skills you can learn for yourself, and your skin. Our skin has receptors to cortisol, so get the beauty sleep, slow down and genuinely make time for yourself. We make too many excuses to rush.
🤍Processed oat milk is more inflammatory than most of us know. Do some research, find a sub you like. I like making almond milk.
🤍Stop over exfoliating your skin. And if your skin has red and inflamed breakouts, you probably shouldn’t even be exfoliating. Visit an esty, we tell you what you actually need to use.
🤍If you don’t have a daily BM you are likely constipated, and toxins are reabsorbing. Hydrate properly and increase fibres.
🤍Life is too short to be drained by people who don’t appreciate you. Being around people who energize you make your skin glow.

If your lips are crustier than the end piece of a sourdough loaf, keep reading ✨

Some surprisingly common causes of chronically dry lips include:
-toothpaste with SLS (sodium lauryl sulphate)
-not eating enough healthy fats
-constant licking your lips all day
-irritating lip balm ingredients like fragrance or flavors

A few things that actually help:
-apply lip balm before bed, but after teeth brushing
-increase omega fatty acids or supplement to support skin barrier
-drink electrolytes, not just water
-use a humidifier at night

My favourite lip balm is the Glymed Hydrating Lip Balm 🩵 it deeply nourishes, protects the delicate lip barrier, and keeps lips soft without feeling heavy or sticky.
