Ever wonder why your RMT asks so many questions before your massage?

Your assessment helps your practitioner understand what’s bothering you, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you want to get out of your treatment.

Your treatment shouldn’t be one-size-fits-all.

The more your RMT knows, the better they can tailor your session to you.

For some people, it’s the neck and shoulders.
For others, it’s the jaw, upper back or low back.

Stress doesn’t always stay in your thoughts—it can show up physically, too.

You've probably heard of Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)—but what exactly is it?

MLD is a specialized, gentle treatment technique designed to support the movement of lymphatic fluid through the body.

Your lymphatic system is an essential part of your body. It moves fluid back to your heart via a network of vessels and nodes. It filters and condenses lymph fluid, as well as fighting infection. Sometimes the lymphatic system can be blocked or damaged from a variety of causes and one of the best ways to treat this is with massage. This can help reduce swelling and fluid retention, support the body’s natural drainage processes, improve circulation of lymph, and promote relaxation.

Curious if MLD may be right for you?

Book with either Richard or Linh who are trained to work on the lymphatic system by the Vodder School: the original creators of lymphatic massage. They are certified to treat those with functional and compromised lymphatic systems.

Back to school, back to work, back to routines 🍂

For many in the Okanagan, this summer brought more than just sunshine and long weekends. It also brought uncertainty, disrupted plans, and the stress of nearby wildfires.

Whether the season felt busy, overwhelming, or simply different than expected, stress has a way of showing up in the body. Tight shoulders. A sore neck. Clenched jaws. Fatigue that lingers even after life starts to settle down 😥

As fall routines begin, it's a good time to check in with yourself—not just your schedule.

Making time for recovery can look different for everyone. Whether it's massage therapy, acupuncture, physiotherapy, or simply taking a moment to slow down, caring for your body is an investment in your overall well-being.

The return to routine is also an opportunity to return to yourself 💙

From all of us at Enhanced Healing, we hope everyone in our community is staying safe, and we look forward to supporting those who are ready to prioritize their health and well-being this season.

We're accepting patients at all three of our clinics in Kelowna. Enjoy direct billing, free parking, relaxing spaces, and knowledgeable practitioners who genuinely care ✨

It's common to hear the words "inflammation" and "muscle soreness" used interchangeably, but they're not the same thing 🔁

Muscle soreness after exercise is often a normal part of the body's adaptation process, while inflammation is a biological response to tissue irritation, injury, or infection.

Knowing the difference can help guide recovery and determine when it's appropriate to rest, keep moving, or seek further assessment 💙

At Enhanced Healing in Kelowna, our practitioners take the time to understand the factors contributing to each individual's symptoms before developing a personalized treatment plan.

Whether that's massage therapy, acupuncture, physiotherapy, or osteopathy, the goal is to support healthy movement, recovery, and overall well-being 💆

Have you ever assumed soreness meant inflammation? You're not alone!
