Almost threw another week 🙃

Riki is off to a wedding today and Elaine is in until noon then off to home visits all afternoon.

Just want everyone to have a little update on our little boys situation. His name is Stetson Clayton Desjarlais. He was born at 2lbs 3oz (1000g) in Rocky in emergency.
Despite all the chaos Stetson is doing incredible. He is on a Cpap that helps his lungs breathe right now. He is slowly getting his feedings increased with a fortifier which is adding proteins. He currently weigh 1130g, the more weight he gains is better. Brennan and I are doing well and we are slowly learning the ropes of having a premature baby. We love him very much and love seeing him grow and change everyday! We are hoping that he will be have improved enough to get moved Red Deer NICU by the middle of September. We appreciate everyone’s well wishes and prayers. I’d say they have been working in our favour so far. We’ve got ourselves a little fighter ❤️

Had a great week off relaxing, some smoky days down in southern BC but we survived. Prayers for everyone affected by the fires going on there, devastating to everyone.

You would be our only hairstylist at the moment so everyone walking in the door is your client.

Yes the salon is for sale, however it isn't sold yet and we need to keep our current clients happy 😊

Riki here, as Elaine is on holiday.
As some of you may have seen, Baily is off work now. What you don't know is that apparently her wee bundle of joy was also tired of the heat wave, and has moved out of mom's house.
Baily welcomed her tiny bundle of joy into this world early Saturday morning! He was born very premature at just 27 weeks, but is currently receiving top notch care at the Calgary Foothills hospital NICU. Mom and dad are doing ok. Tired. And adjusting, but they're ok.
Baily apologizes for leaving early, but we know you all understand. I will be sharing more information about baby as soon as I am allowed, but not a moment sooner.
Carli will be filling in a bit to help us out, also, someone will be reaching out to you sometime this week to start moving appointments around. Please leave a message on the voicemail, or on Facebook Messenger. The next week is going to be a little crazy around the salon, so bear with me.

Ready for the long weekend?!

We will be closed Saturday and Monday to enjoy some time off. Elaine is on vacation next week returning August 10th.
