I feel so blessed that every single one of my clients are amazing people that I genuinely look forward to seeing. You guys share with me the things you’re celebrating in your lives and the things that you’re struggling with and everything in between. It’s truly an honor! 💗

It’s rare for me to have appointments available within the same week or sometimes even the same month! If you need some self care going into the weekend, this Friday at 2pm is available.

New clients are absolutely welcome 🤍

It goes without saying that I LOVE working where I work, who I work with ( that’s you!) and how I work. And I hope and plan to keep it that way!

That being said, I need to consider the financial implications of running my business and ensure that my policies and set up support me with being able to keep my location and offerings the same.

So here’s the two updates:

1. Cancellations and no shows: I currently have a 24 hour cancelation policy that requires a card on file when booking and any short notice or no shows are billed to your card in full. At least, that’s the policy you have signed if you’re an existing client. However, in the past I’ve been a bit lax about the policy often letting it slide because at the end of the day, I want to offer grace and understanding that things happen. BUT, given my own life (and very human) circumstances lately, in order for me to continue being where I am, I can no longer waive the policy. This means that if you give less than 24 hours notice (for any reason) or you don’t show to your appointment, the full fee applies and will be charged to the card you book with.

2. Fee increase: As of November 1st, fees will increase by $5 for each treatment type. This small increase makes it a little easier for me to continue offering fewer appointments a week which means your quality of treatment is priority. I have never wanted to be a therapist that works to the point of exhaustion - nobody benefits from that least of all you, the client. When you come in for sessions there is no extra fee for things like cupping or hot stones either.

And that’s it for now!

I can’t say exactly what the future holds but I can say that I am SO grateful to do work I love and for clients who truly are some of the best humans I know! So, thank you.

🙏🏻💗

When you come to see me, it’s never just about the massage. It’s the little things too.

A warm, cozy space. A cup of tea or a bottle of water. A little treat for afterwards. A place where you don’t have to rush out the door the second your massage is over.

I put thought into all of it because I want you to feel cared for from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave.

For me, it’s always about creating an experience, not just providing a treatment.

And please do help yourself to tea, water and treats! I know some clients feel “bad” taking it but that’s what it’s there for 😊🙏🏻💗

It’s been a while since I’ve introduced myself here 🤍

I’m Katie, an RMT, mentor, and the person behind Stillpoint.

I’ve been a massage therapist for almost 20 years, and somewhere along the way my work became about so much more than muscles, knots and getting people off the table feeling “fixed.”

What I really love is creating a space where people can exhale.

A space where you don’t have to make conversation if you don’t want to. Where you can ask questions, change your mind, be anxious, embrace your sensitivities and simply show up exactly as you are.

My style of massage is slow and intentional. I believe we can work therapeutically with the body without fighting against it. More pressure isn’t always better, and pain isn’t proof that something is working. Sometimes slowing everything down is exactly what allows the body to let go.

Alongside my massage practice, I also mentor other massage therapists and bodyworkers. I love helping therapists discover who they are in this work and how to create a practice that is sustainable, enjoyable and truly impacts clients in a memorable way.

What makes you feel alive doing this work? What kind of therapist do you actually want to be?

From there, we can explore everything from slowing down treatments and creating a more welcoming experience for anxious and neurodivergent clients, to the business side — client care, communication, boundaries, confidence, structure and getting clear on what you actually want to offer.

Whether I’m treating my own clients or mentoring other therapists, at the heart of all of it is the same thing: helping people feel safe enough to be themselves and reconnect with what feels right for them. 🤍

If you’re looking for massage, you can book through the link in my bio. And if you’re an RMT looking for mentorship, send me a DM and tell me where you’re at. I’d love to connect.

💗

✨ Recent additions to my treatment space (because the details matter):

1. A gentle heating pad for your back
After years of using hot towels (which I’ll never stop), I noticed how the back can feel briefly cold once the towel comes off. I’ve added a small, subtle heating pad that stays on after the towel so your body stays warm and relaxed while I move on to your legs. No cold shock, just continuity and comfort.

2. An upgraded tea station
I replaced my small pour kettle with a larger, push-to-pour hot water dispenser. No lifting, no effort , just an easy press for fresh, consistently hot tea. It keeps the water hotter longer and lets you stay in that soft, post-massage state.

3. A heated neck pillow
When you turn onto your back, I place a towel-wrapped neck pillow that’s been warming in the towel cabinet. It cradles and gently heats the neck while I work on your legs and arms so that by the time I arrive at your neck, everything is already warm, soothed, and ready to melt.

4. A larger towel warmer = more hot towels
This upgrade allows me to use more hot towels throughout your session. One of the most loved additions? After foot work, each foot is wrapped in its own hot towel “bootie.” It’s grounding, deeply comforting, and a beautiful way to finish the feet.

5. A separate admin & payment space
I’ve moved payment and admin out of the treatment room entirely. You now transition out of the space when you’re ready, creating a clearer boundary between treatment and the outside world, and keeping the room feeling calm, spacious, and sacred.

✨ And for anyone new here:
All of the previously added comforts are still part of every session: heated table, memory foam table pad, wide memory-foam face cradle, arm rests that widen the table, a curated tea selection, hot towels, hot stones, and cupping, all included, always, at no extra charge.

Every change is intentional and from a place of deep love and reverence for this work 🙏🏻💗

Sometimes what we need isn’t another course or strategy…

it’s space to think clearly with someone who understands this work.

These sessions are for therapists who have ideas, questions, or a quiet sense that something wants to shift but don’t want to figure it out alone.

We slow things down and turn scattered thoughts into something clear, workable, and grounded so that you can do the work you love without burning yourself out.

If this feels like the kind of support you’ve been craving, send me a DM or book online in my bio.

I’ve had a few new faces arrive here recently, so it feels like a good moment to re-introduce myself.

I’m Katie 👋💗

I am a massage therapist with 20 years in practice, working from a trauma-informed, nervous-system-aware approach to care.

For most of my career I’ve worked independently and previously owned a wellness clinic - an experience that’s shaped not just how I work with bodies, but how I hold space, build trust, and create care that feels safe and sustainable.

I work with people who need a slower, more attuned approach to touch: bodies that are sensitive, overwhelmed, neurodivergent, or simply tired of pushing through.

Alongside my massage practice, I also mentor other therapists and holistic practitioners who feel drawn to this way of working teaching the parts of the profession that aren’t always taught in school, but deeply shape how care is felt and how practices are built.

Whether you’re here as a client, a fellow therapist, or just exploring, you’re welcome here! I would love to get to know you so please drop a hello in the comments and tell me something about you 🤗

And, you can explore the ways to work with me as a client or therapist in my bio or drop me a DM anytime 💗
