🚨 WHY MY SPRAY TAN PREP RULES AREN’T JUST ME BEING DRAMATIC 🚨

Guys… I know it seems like getting a spray tan comes with a million instructions. 😂 But I promise, I’m not making these rules up just to keep you on your toes.

Every single prep step is there for one reason:
✨ To give you the most flawless, longest-lasting tan possible.

I’ve been doing this for over a decade, and trust me… I’ve seen what happens when people decide to freestyle. 😬

🍑 EXFOLIATE. EXFOLIATE. EXFOLIATE.
That dry, flaky skin has got to go. If I spray tan over old skin, your tan is going to cling to it, shed unevenly, and leave you looking like a patchy leopard. Hard pass.

🪒 Shave 24 hours before your appointment.
Please don’t shave an hour before you come see me. Freshly shaved skin has open pores that soak up the solution, leaving those little dark dots that look like blackheads. We don’t want polka-dot legs.

🧴 Skip the moisturizer.
I know your skin feels dry. I know it’s tempting. But moisturizer creates a barrier, and barriers and spray tans are not besties.

✨ No deodorant either.
Yes… you might feel a little funky for a few hours. 😂 But deodorant can react with the tanning solution and leave your underarms with a lovely green tint. Cute on Shrek. Not on you.

👕 Dress like Adam Sandler.
This is your moment.
Oversized hoodie? ✔️
Baggy sweatpants? ✔️
Dad shorts? ✔️

Skin-tight leggings, sports bras, skinny jeans and white crop tops? Absolutely not. Fresh bronzer needs room to breathe—not to be rubbed off onto your clothes (or permanently decorate your favourite white shirt).

Because after the last 10 years, I’ve realized I’m basically a dandelion.

Life has tried to stomp me into the ground more than once. There have been tears in my treatment room, sleepless nights, moments I questioned everything, incredible highs, heartbreaking lows, and more lessons than I can count.

Yet here I am.
Like the world’s most stubborn little w**d.
You can cut me down, but I’ll always grow back. Usually stronger. Usually louder. And probably with a spray tan.

Ten years ago, I had one treatment room and a dream that scared the hell out of me. Today, I have a business I love, clients who feel like family, and a team that makes me proud every single day.
