Smooth Seas Laser Company

Making Albert earn his keep around here (this is a real photo of him from when I woke him up this morning! 😹)

Life is busy enough without adding shaving daily to the list. This is the single best thing you can do to make your routine easier. And it’s the best time of year to begin!

🏆 Can we make it THREE years in a row?! 🏆

Nominations are open for CommunityVotes Halifax, and I would be so grateful if you took a minute to nominate Smooth Seas Laser Company! 🌊🤍

Thanks to all of you, Smooth Seas has been voted PLATINUM & GOLD for Hair Removal for the past TWO years — something that still means so much to me as a small, home-based business.

I’ve built Smooth Seas the old-fashioned way: through word of mouth, amazing clients telling their friends, and a community that has continued to show up and support me year after year. 🥹

I’d LOVE your nomination so we can try to keep that Platinum streak going for year THREE! 🏆🏆🏆

It only takes a minute:

Thank you for continuing to support this little business of mine. Every appointment, referral, review, nomination and kind word has helped build Smooth Seas into what it is today — and I truly appreciate it. 🌊

Let’s go for THREE! 🥳🏆

Welcome to the Smooth Seas family, Albert!

You won’t see this guy in my office but you MIGHT hear him demanding love while I work and you’ll certainly see him on my feed!

We are so in love! 🩵🐾

Huge Shout-out to Fall River Local Business Sterling Vehicle Detailing for making our truck look brand new while I worked today!

This is the 3rd mobile car detail company i’ve had and they are the absolute best. So thorough and our vehicle looks brand new. Absolutely lovely people too!

We generally get our vehicles cleaned in the Spring and Fall and let me tell you- the signs of summer adventures, baseball, beach days and an unfortunate protein shake explosion were no match for Paul’s cleaning ability- it looks like we just drove it off the lot.

Highly recommend a “Fall Clean” ahead of the cooler weather.

Because maybe in this world of AI, filters and noise… you’re craving a space where you can just come as you are.

Maybe you don’t always want to feel like you have to dress up to go out. Maybe life is busy enough, and sometimes you just want an appointment that feels easy.

And maybe when you arrive, you don’t want to talk about the news or the weather. Maybe you want to talk about the things that actually matter to you. Or maybe you don’t want to talk at all. That’s okay too.

I’m never going to pretend that Smooth Seas is perfect (and neither am I!) . But I think that’s what sets it apart- it’s real.

I’m a real person, in a real body, running a small business and genuinely caring about the people who walk through my door.

When I follow up after your appointment, I’m the one writing the text. When you send a message, you’re talking to me. If you call, I’m the one picking up the phone.

I didn’t grow my business with going viral on social media but the old fashioned way through customer service and word of mouth.

Some might say that eventually businesses like mine will fall behind as the world changes.

But I think the more everything becomes automated, filtered and impersonal, the more we’re going to crave something real.

So if you’re looking for that too, I’m right here — and I can’t wait to hang out. 🤍

It’s our 15th wedding anniversary! I was closed today so that we could spend the day together and celebrate. I love birthdays and anniversaries-life is meant to be lived, enjoyed and celebrated!

I’m posting this here because this little business would never have existed without my husband- I borrowed his belief in me when I didn’t have my own and he’s been carrying me through ever since.
He’s on deck for the kids, for website glitches, troubleshooting and the sounding board for all the in between- he never doubted me for a second.

I love love! And I especially love this guy!
