- Hip Extension 190lb 10 reps 4 sets

🔥Still procrastinating about starting weight training after 40?You’re definitely not alone. And honestly, the hardest part is often not the weights; it’s getting yourself to start.
After 40, strength training becomes especially valuable because it helps preserve muscle mass, bone strength, balance, mobility, and metabolic health. You don’t need to train like a bodybuilder to get those benefits.
Start with a weight that feels challenging but controlled, leaving a few repetitions “in the tank.” You can gradually increase the weight or reps.
And don’t wait until you feel motivated. Motivation often comes after you start, not before.
40 is: You’re not too late. You’re at exactly the age when getting stronger starts paying bigger dividends.
