Now announcing our nominees for the award showcase's newest category, the Young Entrepreneur Award. This award is presented to a local business that is owned and operated by a young entrepreneur who has demonstrated strong entrepreneurial spirit, and have excelled in categories such as customer service, community impact, and fiscal responsibility. To be eligible for this award, the nominated businesses must be profitable for at least one year, and under 35 at time of the award showcase.

Tickets are still available for the awards showcase. Members of the Gander and Area Chamber of Commerce can purchase tickets for $75, while non-members can purchase tickets for $85. The showcase will be held at 146 Airport Blvd, the Gander Curling Club, on Thursday, October 1. Doors will open at 6:30 pm, with food served at 7:00 pm.

A little out of office moment ✈️

I’ll be away October 2–6 and heading to Toronto for the Bushbalm Pro Summit 🤍

I’m so excited to spend a couple of days learning, connecting with other professionals in the industry, and seeing what Bushbalm has up their sleeve 👀

It seems like thinner brows are making a comeback?

It feels like it’s going against
E V E R Y T H I N G I’ve been taught 😂🫣

But these beautifully sculpted, carefully thinned brows are absolutely DOING it for her 😍

I’m always so apprehensive when someone asks me to thin their brows because I feel like I’ve spent the last decade fighting in the complete opposite direction 😂

But sometimes, less really is more. The goal isn’t just “full brows”, it’s creating a shape that actually suits your face, your features, and your preference.
