Just a little update for my amazing clients for the month of may

With balancing both of my jobs lately, I am officially booked up for all colour appointments until the second week of June 🤍 I’m so beyond grateful for the continued support and trust in my chair!

✨ Hi everyone — let’s reintroduce myself! ✨

With so many new faces here lately, I thought it was the perfect time to share a little bit about me 🤍

My name is Erika Biddlecombe, and I was born and raised in Fort Nelson. This community means everything to me. I truly wouldn’t be where I am today without the support of the amazing people in it.

When I’m not in the salon, you can usually find me outdoors,chilling with my pup or in the winter months on the ice playing hockey with our local women’s team 🏒 I’ve always loved staying active and learning new things

I started hairdressing school in 2021 right after graduating high school and completed my program in just 7 months (yes, it was a full-year program 😅). Shortly after, I moved back home and began working at Zena’s Hair Shop in 2022. That’s also when I started building my own business, Beauty by Erika, working alongside Zena and growing my skills behind the chair.

Along the way, I’ve taken on a few “side quests” — from lifeguarding, to earning my OFA3 and working as an oilfield medic in 2024. That experience really sparked something in me and led me into the medical field.

In October 2025, I was so excited to begin working with the Fort Nelson paramedic station, and in March 2026, I officially became a licensed EMR 🚑

Now, I’m lucky enough to balance both worlds — working as a paramedic and continuing to do what I love behind the chair with all of you 💇‍♀️

Through out the years I’ve also been having fun getting into nails as a hobby 💅 — practicing, learning new techniques, and just enjoying another creative outlet alongside hair.

Thank you to every single person who has supported me, trusted me, and followed along through all of my different paths. Your support truly means more than I can put into words 🤍
