Your child carries more than just books; they carry the weight of their school day. 🎒

A backpack that's too heavy or worn incorrectly can contribute to neck, shoulder, and back pain. Experts recommend keeping backpack weight under 10–15% of a child's body weight, wearing both shoulder straps, and adjusting the pack so it sits close to the back.

Check out this infographic for simple tips that can help keep your child comfortable all school year long, and schedule an appointment if they're experiencing pain or poor posture. ✅ https://chiroup.short.gy/vVrKoT

Could a simple nerve exercise help with frozen shoulder?

Adhesive capsulitis, commonly known as frozen shoulder, is notorious for causing intense stiffness and a painful loss of arm movement. Most traditional care focuses entirely on aggressively stretching or mobilizing the stiff shoulder joint, which can be uncomfortable.

But a new study found that a specific nerve mobilization technique reduced pain and improved function compared with the traditional approach.

While it may seem that nothing is helping with frozen shoulder, sometimes a different approach is needed. Give us a call today to discuss your options!

Sciatica or Piriformis Syndrome? 🤔

Both can cause pain, tingling, or numbness that travels down your leg—but the source is different.

💥 Sciatica usually starts in the lower back.
🍑 Piriformis syndrome happens when a muscle deep in the hip irritates the sciatic nerve.

The symptoms can feel almost identical, which is why getting the right diagnosis is so important.

If you're dealing with pain that travels down your leg, schedule an appointment with us. We'll identify the cause and create a treatment plan that's right for you.
