16 years away. One decision to come back. And she proved that the fire never left.
After 16 years away from the stage—raising a family, working, dealing with personal challenges and health issues—she stepped back under those lights and proved she still has what it takes. If anything, she came back stronger.
The dedication, discipline, and determination behind this comeback are on another level.
This is bigger than stepping on a stage. It’s proof that your dreams don’t have an expiration date.
Get your mind focused. Set the goal. Put in the work. And don’t let age, time, setbacks, or anyone else decide what you’re capable of.
16 years later, she didn’t just come back. She reminded herself who she is. Myra Marshall is my honorary to apart of her journey 💪🏻
Father & Daughter Training Day
Sometimes the best quality time with your kids isn’t sitting around—it’s getting a workout in together. Training, laughing, pushing each other, and building some great memories at the same time.
I’ve trained at a lot of gyms around the city, and when it comes to serious bodybuilding and the best fitness equipments, The Vault Fitness and Iron Lore Gym | located in Edmonton and Beaumont are two places that stand out. The right equipments makes a difference—machines designed with lifters in mind, great lines of movement, knowledgeable trainers, and friendly staff.
If you live in southeast Edmonton, definitely check out Iron Lore Gym | located in Edmonton and Beaumont .
Nothing better than getting a great workout in with my daughter. Strong body, quality time, good memories.
THE BIGGEST LIE ABOUT TURNING 50? THAT YOUR BEST BODY IS BEHIND YOU.
Your age didn’t take away your ability to build muscle.
Yes, building muscle can become more challenging as you get older—but your body can still adapt, grow and become stronger.
Train with resistance.
Challenge your muscles.
Prioritize protein.
Recover properly.
Stay consistent.
Don’t just exercise. Give your muscles a reason to grow.
You don’t need to train like you’re 25.
You need to train intelligently for the body you have today.
After 50, muscle isn’t just about looking better.
It’s strength.
It’s mobility.
It’s resilience.
It’s independence.
You’re not training to turn back the clock. You’re training to make the years ahead your strongest ones yet.
OVER 40? DON’T LET YOUR LEGS GET OLD BEFORE YOU DO.
Strong legs aren’t just about looking good.
They’re your foundation for strength, balance, mobility and staying independent as you age.
Squat.
Lunge.
Hinge.
Train your hamstrings.
Strengthen your calves.
And don’t forget single-leg work.
You can still train heavy after 40—but train smart.
Control every rep.
Use good form.
Progress your weight gradually.
Train through a comfortable range of motion.
Leave your ego outside the gym.
Don’t train like you’re trying to be 20 again.
Train so you’re strong at 50, capable at 60, and still moving well at 70.
Build your legs now. Your future body will depend on them.
OVER 50? STOP TRAINING LIKE YOUR BEST YEARS ARE BEHIND YOU.
Your body still needs strength—and your back is one of the most important places to build it.
Proper back training after 50 isn’t about avoiding heavy weights.
It’s about earning the right to lift them.
Control the weight.
Use a full, comfortable range of motion.
Focus on the muscle, not your ego.
Progress gradually.
Give your body enough time to recover.
A strong back supports better posture, stronger movement and everyday independence.
You can still train hard after 50.
The goal isn’t to prove how much you can lift.
Focus isn’t a switch you flip. It’s a muscle you build.
Every rep trains more than your body. It trains your mind, your discipline, and your ability to keep going when things get hard.
After a while, training becomes more than something you do. It becomes part of who you are.
Stay focused. Stay consistent. Keep showing up.
The body follows where the mind leads.
Women over 50 shouldn’t be afraid of lifting heavy.
This is the time when strength matters more than ever.
Lift to build and maintain muscle.
Lift to strengthen your bones.
Lift to stay capable, confident and independent.
Lift so everyday life stays easier as you get older.
Heavy doesn’t mean reckless. It means challenging yourself with good form, proper progression and a weight that’s heavy for you.
You’re not too old to get stronger.
Don’t train for your age. Train for the life you still want to live.
Training after 40 isn’t just about looking good anymore.
It’s about keeping your muscle.
Keeping your strength.
Protecting your bones.
Staying mobile and independent.
As you get older, strength training becomes more important—not less.
You can’t stop the clock, but you can decide how strong you become along the way.
Don’t train to be younger.
Train to be stronger as you get older.
