Sciatica Oscillations!⁣ When the nerves that leave the lower spine are irritated, it disrupts their flow of energy and causes “sciatica”, which is an electrical tingly feeling that travels from the low back and down the sciatic nerve, which is felt as sensations that go down to the foot. 🫠 #iykyk If you continue moving your body poorly without connection to proper alignment, it can worsen and lead to symptoms such as weakening of the legs and feet, and even symptoms such as incontinence. 🥹 Even surgery does not fix the root issue - it just trims off the side effects. It is important that regardless of the state of your sciatica, you continue moving your body through its full range, and actively try to restore the range of motion that has been lost. 🗣 This is a safe exercise to train with because the spine is unloaded. Here’s how to do it: 1. Begin on your hands and knees with your hands under your shoulders and knees under your hips. 2. Pressurize and depressurize your midsection throughout the rep (Week 1 - Level 1 Back & Core Program) 3. Extend your lower spine (Week 2 - Level 1 Back & Core Program) 4. Laterally tilt your right hip up (Week 4 - Level 1 Back & Core Program) 5. Flex your lower spine (Week 3 - Level 1 Back & Core Program) 6. Laterally tilt your left hip up and create rhythm and flow through all of the movements —————— Follow 👉@easypainrelief for daily pain relief tips 📚 Follow 👉@easypainrelief for daily pain relief tips 📚 —————— Tag someone who needs to see this ❤️ —————— Great post by @moveu —————— —————— ⚠️ Disclaimer- this summary is for educational purposes only and should not substitute medical advice. —————— #mobilitytraining #exercisetips #movementismedicine #sciatica #sciaticnerve #nervepain #legpain #hippain #backpainrelief #backpain
