Well hello there… it’s been a while.
So, I figured I’d take this time to reintroduce myself.

Hi, my name is Shay. Wife to Katie and mama to Zephyr Rain.

I’m an amateur in the kitchen- but I love to make special meals for those with food sensitivities.

I have a green thumb- so during the warm weather- expect lots of floral pictures.

I am obsessed with green beauty - always on the hunt for amazing new formulas and colours.

Other than that- I am just a lover of all things.

The truth is today has been a great day…
But yesterday was filled with emotions. And that’s okay.

Life is not one note- it is a constant ebb and flow. You are given a million lemons- and you can choose to live in the sour… or add a little honey and make it sweet.

I thought that when I closed the store that my stress would be over, but life has a funny way of making new things important, new tasks pressing, new missions and new stresses to be had.

But I am on a mission to (excuse my French) but stop giving a s**t

For too long I have let my ever fluctuating weight, my title, my life goals be determined and valued by others.

And honestly… what good does that do me?

There is no limit to success, and someone else’s does not effect my own. Someone’s weight loss doesn’t mean that I am less worthy, someone’s money or “perfect” (because who’s life is actually perfect??) doesn’t hinder mine.

So I’m going to do my best to say “whatever, I’m happy for you” and also- that isn’t my story… but this is!

And I am smart, I am intelligent, I have persevered through so much, and I am so worthy- as is everyone. We need to make talking about yourself in a positive way the norm!

So enough is enough.

Hi I’m Shay- also known as Shavonne, Chevy, wife, mama, and so many other names… and i am imperfect, sometimes I talk too much, I love random facts, and I am a champion for everyone. Take me as I am, as I am a work In progress… and this wild human is so worthy of your love.

Having the opportunity to be a retailer in Collingwood, allowed me the ability to meet some truly amazing people.

So I thought it would be fun to highlight them on here!
