It's that time of year, when getting back to school and sports schedules can throw your own self-care schedule off, and before you know it, we're looking at Christmas..!
Book your appointments now, put them in the schedule, and make sure YOU are being taken care of along the way as well!
Salt Water Wellness Centre is proud to house seven amazing massage therapists offering a wide range of modalities from relaxation, deep tissue, cupping, hot stone, sports, youth and prenatal massage as well as craniosacral therapy; a very talented acupuncturist, a level 2 Reiki practitioner, a full spectrum infrared sauna and new to our offerings, a PEMF mat!
Check out our website www.saltwaterwellnesscentre.com to see therapist's bios, and to book online! Or if you prefer you can reach us at (403)851-3919!
We look forward to helping you in your self care journey!!

We are excited to announce that we now have PEMF to add to our toolbox!!
What is PEMF? It stands for Pulsed ElectroMagnetic Frequencies (think grounding), and it helps with cellular repair, reduces inflammation and relieves pain by sending short bursts of magnetic energy through the body. It's been proven to ease osteoarthritis pain, chronic low back pain and post surgical discomfort.
But wait, there's more!
This mat also has far infrared (improved circulation), red light (collagen production, new cell growth and injury recovery) and is inlaid with seven healing crystals to enhance your body's natural healing ability!
The added bonus? Your sleep. You'll sleep deeper, wake up feeling refreshed!
Sessions run in 10 minute increments, we recommend starting slow. Your body has the ability to heal itself, it just needs a little encouragement now and then ;)
You can book online at www.saltwaterwellnesscentre.com to secure your session, and check out the website for more info!!

Don't let jaw pain get the best of you!
TMJ (temporomandibular joint) pain can be caused by a few things like an injury, repetitive clenching/grinding, arthritis or even structural issues (these are typically dental issues).
Symptoms include pain or tenderness in the jaw or around the ear, difficulty/discomfort when chewing, clicking or popping sounds when moving the jaw or even locking of the jaw, making it difficult to open/close.
But you're in luck! Our wonderfully talented RMT, Susan Pompu, can help! External massage of the masseter, temporalis and neck muscles, as well as intraoral massage of the pterygoids (using a gloved hand of course) can drastically improve symptoms!
If this sounds like something you need, or are interested in, check out our website, www.saltwaterwellnesscentre.com to see Susan's availability - or give us a shout at (403)851-3919!

May we have your attention please?!?!

Check out our website www.saltwaterwellnesscentre.com to book with Alexa, or give us a shout at the desk (403)851-3919!!

Perhaps it's to get that truly deep muscular relaxation.. or the PNS stimulating contrast between cooled air and hot basalt rocks? Either way, we're happy to accommodate!
