Chemical peels have a reputation for being more dramatic than they always are.
Not every peel involves the same ingredients, depth or downtime. The right option depends on the concern being treated, the condition of the skin and what is happening in the days following the appointment.
The part that matters just as much as the treatment is the plan around it. That includes preparation, sun protection and following the correct aftercare.
