Yesterday was the absolute best.

You know, one of those days where everyone who sits in your chair fills your heart and reminds you exactly why you love doing what you do. I had a client in the morning who’s become such a gem of a friend, my next client was a new guest and just so fun to be around, and my last client was like my twin with interests/style and we just laughed the entire appointment.

As I was washing my last guest, we got to chatting about Salon Harper and she asked me about the loss of Amber (the salon owner and my dear friend). It felt incredible to talk about the light she shared and be smiling out of gratitude for just having known her.

As I cleaned up my studio at the end of the day, I felt such a warmth in my heart as I looked around my studio and could almost hear Amber’s commentary at all the little things I’ve added into the space. I love that a piece of her is always with me & grateful for the new women showing up in my life with the same kind of humour and spark 🤍
