Fabric Art Rocks - Fabric Sculptures by Lise

Finished the bunnies I made at the teachers retreat in May, added some texture and a bunny tail. Painted them while at the Chilliwack Mural Festival. When I put them out someone stated the reminded him of the dust bunnies from the "comfy couch" show. So they were named dust bunnies and the next person bought them. 1 hour after I put them on the shelf :).

Getting ready for and excited to participate in this years Chilliwack Mural Festival! Come on down for a fun day of art, music and activities

Was able to finish off the sunflower and "fantasy" flowers on Friday, had hoped to show them at Sorrento Village Farmers Market but unfortunately wasn't able to make it due to the smoke and a sick puppy (better today). I will have them up at the Scotch Creek Farm & Craft Market on Sunday

Well Rufus has been around for a few years now and been packed back and forth so he needed a bit of a repair (wouldn't go back in his paver) so was able to add some supportive rocks and re-secure him! Took some time to refresh his colour and details! He is for purchase and will be strutting his stuff at the Scotch Creek Farm & Craft Market tomorrow

What a fantastic day at our Paverpol Sunflower Workshop!

Today, six wonderful women spent the day creating these beautiful sunflower wall sculptures, and what an incredible job they did! Every sunflower is completely unique, showcasing each person's creativity and artistic style.

One of my favourite parts of teaching is watching everyone arrive wondering, "Can I really do this?" and leave with a piece they're proud to take home. Today was full of laughter, encouragement, and lots of creativity—it was such a fun group!

Thank you, ladies, for spending your day with me and for making the workshop such a joy. I hope your sunflowers brighten your homes for years to come.
