Is masseter Botox right for you? 💉

Your masseter is the muscle you feel at the sides of your jaw when you clench. Botox may be considered if you have strong jaw clenching, enlarged masseter muscles, or want a softer jawline. For some people, it may also help with muscle related jaw discomfort. Results vary.

Is it essential? Usually, no. Jaw pain and grinding can have different causes, so the first step is an assessment. Masseter Botox may be an option for the right patient, but it is not a treatment for every TMJ concern.
