Come check out my homemade natural soaps, creams, lip balms, room sprays and other products. It's made by your neighbour Dani. Can you go wrong? Hi there!
I have been making my own products for a few years now. I started doing this because I was tired of feeling overwhelmed at the shops. It began by starting to pay closer attention to the ingredients in soaps and other beauty products and realizing how harmful the ingredients really were in them. Not only were they harmful to me but they were harmful to the environment as well. It was then I decided
to take a few workshops and learn to make my own soaps, creams, lip balms, etc. I haven't looked back since. I use everything that I make. :)
It's only recently that I have been selling them to family and friends. The response has been so overwhelmingly positive and encouraging. I've learned that people want to know who is making their products, love supporting local entrepreneurs and love to know what exactly is in the product and what it does for them. I use nourishing plants oils as the fat and never use hormone injected animal fat which is in most commercial soap. (No, I do not use human fat - yes, I've seen Fight Club). I ALWAYS use essential oils in my products and never use synthetic fragrances. Essential oils help detoxify the body, soothe tired muscles and benefit skin rejuvenation. Fragrances can be very toxic and have the opposite affect and age your skin. If it's got fragrance in it folks, then it's not natural. I also use natural colorants. No harmful dyes. I know I'm not the only one with this thinking. I wanted better for myself and loved ones. Don't you? Much love,
Dani
