Hi im new here in west Kelowna little bit about me 😊 I moved here to pick fruit 🍎 hahah jk but it's definitely a hobby of mine, We just moved here from calgary Where i spent the last 12 ish years, before that my family and I immigrated from England to Kelowna in 2007. I have always had a passion and natural flair for doing hair, since i was about 5 (my mum says) 😜 During high school in England i took cosmetology as young as 14. when we move to Canada my high school didn't offer this course so I waited patiently to finish high school and went to Marvel College in kelowna. The summer between high school and hair school I worked front desk at an Aveda salon in Mission called Total E'clips SalonSpa where i fell in love with Aveda products. From that moment, I basically knew my future was going to be based with Aveda. I did hair in Kelowna for three years (lots of UPDOs and blondes) realized being a blonde having a natural understanding for working with bleach from all my years of experimenting on friends and myself 😬 that I needed to create the most perfect blondes so that's what I focussed on. I moved to Calgary joined an Aveda salon named diva and did a TON of training in cutting and coloring. I always knew that Calgary would be a steppingstone in my life i always hoped I'd end up back in the Okanagan and here we are. 🥰 My wonderful husband helped me make my dreams come true. I am a mom of two wild boys, 1 and 4. When I'm not working they certainly keep me busy. We have a 10 year old Pitsky. My husband is a hard worker in trades that brings him back to Alberta often. Family time is important to me, on weekends we like to hang at the beach go for bike rides or grab an ice cream. I love a good chit chat 🫶🏼 my chair is a safe space to feel heard & taken care of. A colour correction that was truly magical 👏🏼 -->

Grace came in for a consultation telling me that her hair was getting too high maintenance and wanted to enhance her gray, but still have a natural color. How could we make it fun low maintenance? She showed me some pictures of contrasted out black and white blonde which I explained isn't possible first time coming from a dark red brown. After lots of consulting and a plan, we decided the best option was to get as light as possible in one session knowing there would still be more steps to take after to get our achieved result.
We got way lighter in one session than i could've imagined. Sometimes magical things can happen behind the chair. You just have to have faith in your Hairstylist and the same end goal 🫶🏼 if you're thinking about blending out your gray going forward, you know who to call 📞

A full year of growth and she waited for me 🥹🤍

My client hadn’t had her hair done in over a year while I was on maternity leave — this was all her natural before. We brought it back to life with a soft, dimensional blonde and fresh layers ✨

This season of life has been so special, but I’ve truly missed connecting with all of you and doing what I love every day.
I’m excited to share that I’ll now be working out of a new (but also familiar!) home at Diva — a place that feels like coming full circle for me. Even better, I’ll be closer to home in South Calgary 🙌
While I loved the freedom of working for myself, I’m really looking forward to this new chapter — more balance, more connection, and showing up as my best for both my clients and my family.
