We get this question in our chairs every single day: "Wait, what's the difference between lived-in color and just letting my hair grow out?"⁠

While letting previous color grow out is technically low-maintenance, this transformation was all about strategy. Look at the 'before' (image_4.png). Her old blonde was concentrated heavily on the ends, creating a blocky, unbalanced look that was dragging her down.⁠

For the 'after', Payton didn't just 'touch it up.' She refined the entire placement. By bringing strategic brightness up to meet her rich brunette base in a soft, melted gradient, we balanced the dimension and gave her that 'bright-eyed' expensive glow.⁠
