As many a maker can attest, we all come in passionate about the product - the inspiration, the making, the pure joy of creating that thing. That part is almost easy. We’re driven by something bigger for that part.
It’s the every other bloody thing that can get tricky. The admin, the labeling, the marketing, the networking - and for me especially, the (🤬) website. Sigh. It’s crucial now. We really can’t get anywhere without it. And it’s good. Don’t get me wrong. But it’s a whole other job that if you’re not already good at, you need to learn to be at least adequate at.
To this point, I thank my incredible husband, Greg. To cite the cliche, he’s just “my rock”. In all the many life ways - but in matters concerning everthing I’m so not good at with our little biz, he just does it. No complaints. Ever.

We’ve been focused on the website lately. New pictures, new write-ups, new “this is why we do it” feeling. It’s not perfect. Nope. But I will never be that - and that’s ok. Hopefully, it does the job though. Enough that I still get to come back to that person who loves what she does - the inspired, joy-filled maker of lovely things. 🌱
