Aging doesn’t happen in just one layer of the skin—so why would we treat it with only one wavelength?

Halo Tribrid combines three wavelengths in one powerful treatment:

✨ 2940 nm Erbium resurfaces the outermost layer to improve fine lines, rough texture and superficial damage.

✨ 1927 nm Moxi targets pigment, sun damage, dullness and uneven skin tone.

✨ 1470 nm Halo reaches the dermis to stimulate collagen remodelling and improve firmness, pores, scars and deeper texture.

Surface. Pigment. Collagen.

Three wavelengths working at different depths—because comprehensive skin rejuvenation requires more than treating what we can see on the surface.

This isn’t simply resurfacing. It’s a complete skin reset.

Ready to find out if Tribrid is right for your skin? Book a consultation.

Results vary. Treatment recommendations are based on an individual assessment.

What does an expert look like?

Medical aesthetics is evolving faster than almost any other area of medicine. New technologies, techniques, products and evidence are constantly changing how we assess and treat our patients.

Expertise isn’t built through a single course or certificate.

It comes from:

• Frequently attending advanced conferences and training
• Teaching and mentoring other medical professionals
• Assessing and treating patients every day
• Continually reviewing the latest research
• Understanding how different treatments work together
• Learning from years of real-world outcomes and experience

We don’t simply participate in this industry—we experience everything it has to offer.

That commitment to learning, teaching and practising is what separates us from our competitors.

It’s what makes us experts.

What does dermaplaning actually remove—and why does your skin glow afterward? ✨

Dermaplaning gently removes:

• Built-up dead skin cells
• Fine vellus hair—also known as peach fuzz
• Surface debris that can leave skin looking dull and uneven

Once that dull outer layer is removed, the smoother skin underneath reflects light more evenly—creating that fresh, bright, immediate glow.

The result? Softer skin, smoother makeup application and skincare that absorbs more effectively.

And no—your hair will not grow back thicker or darker.

Instantly smoother. Noticeably brighter. Beautifully refreshed.

Lasers are one of the most powerful tools we have to help you achieve the skin you want—but the most powerful laser isn’t always the right laser.

The right treatment depends on:

✨ What we are treating—pigment, pores, texture, wrinkles, redness or laxity
✨ How deeply the concern sits within the skin
✨ Your skin type and medical history
✨ How much downtime you can accommodate
✨ Your budget, expectations and long-term goals

BBL, Moxi, Halo and Halo Tribrid may share similar goals, but they deliver energy at different wavelengths, depths and intensities. That means they create very different treatment experiences and recovery times.

Some patients need gentle, progressive correction. Others need deeper resurfacing. Many benefit from a customized combination.

The goal isn’t to choose the newest or most aggressive laser. It’s to choose the right technology, settings and treatment plan for your skin.

Lasers are the power tool.
Diagnosis and experience determine how they’re used.

Which laser is right for you? It starts with a consultation.

“Undiagnosed, but something ain’t right.”

How many women know something isn’t right—yet continue to feel dismissed, unheard or treated one symptom at a time?

For years, I went to my GP with anxiety, depression, restless legs, insulin resistance, heart palpitations, acne, high cholesterol, weight changes and difficulty sleeping.

I was told to try antidepressants or sleep medication. To change my diet. Lose weight. Exercise more. Practise mindfulness.

Each symptom was given its own explanation—but no one stepped back and asked whether they might be connected.

Now I know they were.

They were part of my menopause transition.

That experience is what drove me to do better—not only for myself, but for other women who know their bodies and know when something has changed.

I completed board certification in menopause and women’s health to better understand my own health. Now, I’m grateful to use that knowledge to support other women through this transition—so they feel heard, understood and informed about their treatment options.

You are not “just anxious.”
You are not failing because diet and exercise haven’t fixed everything.
And you are not imagining your symptoms.

Sometimes, something really isn’t right—and you deserve a provider willing to look at the whole picture.

What is HALO® TRIBRID™—and why is everyone talking about it?

HALO TRIBRID is a customizable resurfacing treatment that combines three laser wavelengths in a single session, allowing us to treat multiple layers of the skin at the same time.

✨ 1927 nm targets superficial pigment and uneven tone
✨ 1470 nm delivers deeper thermal energy to support collagen renewal and improve texture
✨ 2940 nm Er:YAG precisely resurfaces and polishes the skin’s surface

HALO TRIBRID can treat:

• Sun damage
• Pigmentation
• Uneven skin tone
• Fine lines
• Wrinkles
• Enlarged pores
• Uneven skin texture
• Dullness
• Overall skin quality
• Superficial skin concerns
• Deeper textural concerns
• Skin laxity related to collagen loss

The real advantage isn’t simply that it uses three wavelengths—it’s that each one can be customized to your skin, concerns, desired results and acceptable downtime.

This isn’t a one-size-fits-all laser. It’s a personalized resurfacing treatment designed to work at multiple depths in one appointment.

The top 3 benefits of dermaplaning ✨

1. May enhance product absorption
Dermaplaning removes superficial dead skin cells and vellus hair from the skin’s surface, creating a smoother barrier that may allow topical skincare products to apply more evenly and pe*****te more effectively into the superficial layers of the skin.
2. Removes accumulated dead skin cells
By exfoliating the outermost layer of the epidermis, dermaplaning helps reduce the buildup of dead skin cells that can contribute to a dull, uneven appearance and accentuate the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
3. Creates a smoother makeup application
Removing surface debris and vellus hair provides a more even skin surface, allowing makeup to apply more smoothly and appear more uniform.

Dermaplaning is a minimally invasive exfoliation treatment with little to no downtime for many patients. However, it may not be appropriate for individuals with active acne, open lesions, skin irritation, infection or a rosacea flare. A professional skin assessment should be completed before treatment to determine whether dermaplaning is suitable.

Choosing patient safety isn’t always easy.

It means investing in policies, practice guidelines and safety protocols—often long before anyone recognizes their importance.

It means making difficult decisions, including losing staff who are unwilling to follow regulations or meet the standards our patients deserve.

It means choosing patients over profit. Every single time.

Medical aesthetics has evolved quickly—and in many ways, business has outpaced medicine. When profit becomes the priority, patient safety can become compromised.

That is why leadership matters.

Being recognized by CBC News as a leader in patient safety feels incredibly meaningful—not because doing the right thing is always easy, but because it is always worth it.

Patients over profit.
Safety over shortcuts.
Medicine before business.

Always. Find my interview at https://www.cbc.ca/player/play/video/9.7197513
