I've been using C*D to help manage inflammation for about a year now. Here's a local brand from Vancouver called ! Not only do I notice less overall pain and inflammation, I've also experienced reduced anxiety, which is kind of a big deal. Check them out!

Recently, I've developed some sensitivities, (including sensitivities to natural products, especially castor oil) so I've had to revamp my entire hair-care and body-care routine. Right now these products from are working for me.
At first I was super stoked because the brand appeared to be a Black-owned company. I looked into it and all I could find out was that the brand was Black-founded but then it was bought out, so I'm not sure if the company is still Black-owned. I reached out to them and received no response, so please feel free to correct me and I'll edit this post!
That being said, the products are still high quality and agree with my skin at the moment.
Feel free to share any actual Black-owned brands that sell natural products that work for you! I'd love to try some new brands.

🌝 Lately my skincare routine has been all about oils. Since developing some sensitivities, my go to is to wash my face with just lukewarm water (sometimes with a drop of oil) and then layer on those oils morning and night. Keep it simple, stay moisturized and stay hydrated.💦
(Also using a gentle mask once or twice a week is enough exfoliation for me)

❣️This one is for my menstruating peeps!❣️ About 3 years ago I started looking for alternatives to disposable pads and tampons. Not only are they uncomfortable and not so healthy for your "down there" area, they are a huge contributor to plastic waste! 🚫♻️ I bought my first period underwear from around then and I haven't turned back since! Those pairs that I bought lasted me just over two years. Thinx has come a long way as a brand since then and even with so many competitive options my personal opinion is that they still make the best period underwear on the market!

Unlike other brands, your Thinx un**es can be worn on their own! No need for a back up, especially with the new super absorbancy cotton briefs!

I purchased these three a couple of months ago and they are working great! So, if you've been thinking about making the switch, go for it! If you are afraid of online shopping has a wonderful policy where you can keep the underwear to donate or give to friends if they don't fit and you can try another size or get your money back.

💦 Sweating is natural and it's your body's way of clearing out toxins and all of the bad stuff. If you are using an antiperspirant you are clogging up your pores with aluminum and other fragrances. Not to mention your lovely lymph nodes.

I would highly recommend switching over to a natural deodorant. It might take a little getting used to, but your armpits and your white T-shirts will thank you! (those gross yellow stains are from your antiperspirant sticking to your clothes when you sweat)

My personal favourite is
natural deodorant. It has good things like magnesium to relax those pits and none of the bad stuff. - fave scent Super ⭐
