Same lunch, different day, different stomach?
In Ayurveda, stress unsettles agni, your digestive fire. A racing mind makes for a struggling gut.
One simplet thing to try: sit down and take three slow breaths before you eat.

Being heard should not be rare.
A first consultation with me takes two hours. That time is how I find the root cause, not just the sympthom..
Thank you, Brianna, for these words. 🙏

Sending care to anyone missing someone today.
Waking at 3am and lying there thinking? 🌙
In Ayurveda, 2 - 6 am is Vata time. Stress and menopause both raise Vata, and the mind wakes up.
One gentle remedy to try : a small cup of warm milk with a pinch of nutmeg before bed.
Know someone who needs this? Send this to them.

Many women I see carry a great deal: work, family, everyone else’s needs. “I’m fine” is often the quickest answer, because there isn’t time for a longer one.
I understand that. But in Ayurveda we begin by listening to how you actually feel, not how you are managing.
That honest starting point is where real care begins.
What’s one thing you would say if someone asked and really had time to listen?

Happy Thanksgiving weekend from Burlington 🍂
Autumn in Ayurveda is a season of wind, cool air and change, so this is a lovely time to slow down and lean into warmth: warm meals, warm drinks, and good company around the table.
A small idea for the long weekend: before the big meal, take one quiet breath and think of one thing you’re grateful for. Then eat slowly and enjoy every bite. Gratitude and a calm table are good company for digestion.
Wishing you and your family a warm, nourishing Thanksgiving.

I met this little guy behind the clinic last week. 🍂
He was busy with a nut, cheeks going. The moment I stopped to film him, he stopped too and sat completely still.
Animals notice everything around them. They also change with the season without being told. His coat is thicker now and his tail is fuller, ready for the cold.
Ayurveda asks the same of us. In autumn: warmer meals, earlier nights, a little more rest. This is ritucharya, living with the seasons.
What is the first thing you change when the weather turns cold?

No perfect answer - just an honest check-in.
Rest, warmth, movement, or quiet......
