Timely retwists make a difference 🤎
When a retwist is overdue, loose hair can begin to intertwine between locs, and sometimes you’ll find locs holding on by only a small strand of hair.
For this repair, I took my time with gentle sectioning and plenty of moisture. You can see in the video that whenever there was too much tension, I stopped, moisturized, and tried again — never forcing the hair apart.
Loc repairs aren’t about rushing to make everything look neat. They’re about giving the hair the time and care it needs to get back to a healthy foundation.
And the ending? Fresh, clean, healthy new locs. ✨

When a loc is noticeably longer than the rest, it doesn’t always mean something went wrong. Locs can mature, shrink, thicken, and grow at different rates — every head has its own pattern.
So instead of forcing everything to look identical, we worked with what was already there ✨
