The biggest stressor for every holistic healthcare provider and service-based practitioner I’ve ever known is the same: schedules, appointments, bookings.

One of the greatest blessings in my career has been the gift of being consistently, and often extraordinarily, busy. To have a full schedule is something I never take for granted. 💫✨

And that is all because of you.

From the very bottom of my heart — THANK YOU 🙏🏼❤️

When I was starting out, everyone thought I was crazy for leaving Halifax as quickly as I could to go work in New Germany. But I followed my heart and my intuition, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions I could have made.

I was incredibly blessed to begin my career alongside Laura, who already had more than ten years of experience at the time. She had more clients than she could comfortably accommodate and was generous enough to refer them to me. She taught me so much of what they don’t teach you in school — the things that are immensely valuable to know once you’re actually out there doing the work.

She was, and continues to be, a cornerstone of my success. She became a friend, a mentor, and someone who has stood solidly in my corner for more than 13 years. I am eternally grateful for her love, support, wisdom, and belief in me. 💛

Many of my day one clients are still my clients to this day. That kind of loyalty and continued support means more to me than I could ever properly put into words. 🫶🏼

Some clients I see regularly.
Some I see only once in a while.
Some live exclusively on my cancellation list.
And some are new faces I’m lucky enough to meet along the way.

I am so grateful for every single one of you.

I love meeting new people, so I’ve never wanted to say that I’m not accepting new clients. Every new person who finds their way to me is another person I’m grateful to have the opportunity to meet and work with.

And then there are the absolute gems who will message me and say, “If no one has taken that cancellation yet, I’ll take one for the team!” happily accepting a bonus treatment when an opening pops up 😂❤️

I am grateful for you, too.

To every friend, family member, client, colleague, and stranger who has ever referred someone to me, recommended me, shared my name, tagged me, or told someone they should come see me - thank you 🙏🏼

Whether I see you often, rarely, once in a blue moon, or perhaps have never treated you at all…

Whether you’ve been with me since day one or just discovered me recently…

Whether you’ve booked an appointment, filled a cancellation spot, referred a friend, shared a post, or simply told someone about what I do…

You have all contributed to the life of this practice.

And I want you to know that I see it. I appreciate it. And I am deeply, deeply grateful🙏🏼❤️

Thank you for trusting me, supporting me, believing in me, and allowing me to do work that I genuinely love.

I wouldn’t be here without you.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. 🫶🏼✨

Client review of Craniosacral Therapy:
“It felt like you were doing nothing, but it did everything!” ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Craniosacral Therapy is gentle, subtle, and deeply relaxing.

Using light, hands-on touch around the head, neck, spine, and other areas of the body, I create space for you to slow down, relax, and tune into your body.

The pace is quiet and unhurried. There’s no need to do anything - simply get comfortable, breathe, and allow your body to respond in its own way.

Clients often describe the experience as deeply calming and restorative, with sensations of peace, warmth, lightness, spaciousness, ease, or simply feeling more settled and grounded afterward. This deep relaxation can also help ease muscle tension and provide relief from pain and discomfort.

Craniosacral Therapy can be incorporated into your next massage treatment, or booked as a treatment on its own.

You may remain fully clothed during a craniosacral treatment, making it a fantastic option for those who may not be comfortable with traditional massage therapy.

If you’re curious about this gentle modality, I’d love to introduce you to it.

A small but mighty tip for when you’re feeling stressed, anxious, worried or overwhelmed 🌀

Try this:

🌿 Breathe in slowly and deeply counting to six
🌿 Then exhale slowly and fully counting to eight
🌿 Repeat this pattern

Making your exhale longer than your inhale can help signal to your body that it’s safe to slow down and shift toward a more relaxed state.

The counting has a bonus benefit: it gives your mind something simple to focus on, helping interrupt those thought spirals we can get caught up in.

Six in. Eight out.

🌬️ Intentional breathing can help you find your way back to calm

When you are a massage therapist, and your massage therapist tells you to take an epsom salt bath, you take an epsom salt bath 🫧

You may wonder why I talk about mental and emotional wellness if you think of massage therapy and only physical health comes to mind.

It’s because they are all intertwined.

They aren’t isolated compartments.

We experience life as one whole person.

Lack of ease in the body often stems from many different contributing factors. This is also why healing often requires multiple elements.

Our minds, bodies, nervous systems, and emotions all work together for our state of being.

Well-being is about creating conditions where your body feels safe and supported, your nervous system is relaxed, your mind feels clear, your emotions can be experienced and regulated with ease. Where your entire system is healthy mentally, emotionally and physically.

Wishing you wellness, ease and comfort in all aspects of yourself 🤍✨

Is it just me, or does tomorrow feel like the official switch back to routine?

I’ve always found September to feel like the time to get back on track after the easier breezier days of summer 🌞🍂

It can be overwhelming, everything that needs to planned and organized, all the elements we balance every day.

This is your gentle reminder to prioritize time for you too.

Breathe.
Book the self care session.
You’re worth it.

“Caitlyn, why are you so passionate about your practice?”

Because,
I know.
I get it.

I have lived with intense physical pain.
I have lived with decreased mobility.
I have lived through deep emotional pain.
I have lived with panic attacks and anxiety.
I have lived with headaches and migraines.
I have lived with vertigo.
I have lived with insomnia.
I have lived through trauma.
I have lived in toxic environments.
I have lived in survival mode.
I have lived with grief.
I have lived through challenges.
I have lived.

Truly,
I know.
I get it.

And before anyone does a wellness check on me - ps thank you, I appreciate you 🙏🏼💛

Please know that I am not living in those spaces now.

And that is exactly why I am so passionate about doing everything in my power to help you find your way out of them too.

Because I know what it feels like to be in your shoes.

And I also know what it feels like to stand on the other side of those experiences.

I know there can be another side.
I know healing is possible.
I know life can feel different.

And I want that for you.

I have lived it.
I have experienced it.
I know.
I get it.

So when I get to walk alongside you, support you, and help you move toward feeling more like yourself again, it brings me an indescribable amount of joy.

Thank you for trusting me.
Thank you for allowing me into your journey.
And thank you for blessing me with the honour and privilege of doing this work ✨

It means more to me than you know.

🤍

You know me, I believe balance is key 🔑

That’s why the AC is on but so is the table warmer 🧊🔥

Table cozy ✔️
Towels hot ✔️
Lotion heated ✔️
Room temp on point ✔️
White noise playing ✔️

The perfect space for a hour of relaxation and self care 💕

When your body is asking for a break…

Shoulders tense?
Jaw tight?
Mind racing?
Feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or completely drained?
Craving a pause?
Dying for just ONE hour where no one needs anything from you?

If you answered yes to any of these… consider this your sign to book the massage. 💆‍♀️✨

Come unplug. Exhale. Let your body soften. Let someone else take care of you for a change.

And the most common post-treatment review?

“I’m staying here forever.”

Honestly… we get it.
