Quick recovery update 💛
I wanted to share a little update for my clients. I started back to work a bit too quickly, which caused a small setback in my recovery. I’m still dealing with very low energy reserves, so for now my schedule needs to remain extremely limited while I continue to rebuild my strength.
I am working, just at a much slower pace than usual, and I’m being very careful not to overdo it again. I know this means longer waits and fewer available appointments, and I’m so grateful for everyone’s patience, understanding, and kindness while I work my way back.
I also gave Jane booking a try, but it didn’t end up working as well for my business, so I’ve decided to stick with Rosy Salon Software for now.
I’m improving — I just need to let my body set the pace. 💛

Progress update 🤗

My return to work is going very slowly, and my energy reserves are still quite limited. Right now, I’m only able to manage one small wax client per day.

Unfortunately, this recovery is once again taking much longer than I had hoped. For now, I’m continuing to book only one week at a time, with appointments for the following week being booked on Thursdays and Fridays.

A little return-to-work update 💝

My recovery and return to work are going much slower than I had hoped. Right now, I’m still only able to manage a small number of short appointments at a time, and I have 68 clients currently waiting on my rebooking list.

I’m working my way through the list as my body allows, but it’s going to take some time to catch everyone up. I know waiting isn’t easy, and I truly appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued support while I work toward getting back to my normal schedule. 💝

Illness Policy

To help keep myself and all clients healthy, I have updated my illness policy.

Please reschedule your appointment if you are experiencing any symptoms of an active illness, including:

- Fever or chills
- Vomiting or diarrhea
- Sore throat
- Runny or congested nose
- New or worsening cough
- Flu/COVID-like symptoms
- Any other symptoms that may be contagious

If you are feeling well but have mild lingering symptoms from a recent illness, such as an occasional cough, I kindly ask that you wear a mask during your appointment.

As I prepare to return to work after my time away, I’ve made a few updates to my service menu, pricing and hours.

Hi! 😊 I’m starting to organize my client list for my gradual return to work and wanted to check in. When are you next due for your services, and are you hoping to book back in with me?
No pressure at all if you’ve made other arrangements while I’ve been off — I’m just trying to get an idea of who is waiting for me so I can plan my schedule as I slowly reopen. ❤️

I’ll be starting back with afternoon appointments, as mornings are still a little more difficult for me right now. I’ll be gradually adding more hours and appointments as I continue to recover. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding while I ease back into my regular schedule.
For now, I’ll be booking week to week only until I’m able to return to my regular schedule. My first week back will be limited to short waxing services, and I’ll slowly build from there as I’m able.
Once I’m fully back, my new regular hours will be:
Monday: 9–5
Tuesday: 9–2:30
Wednesday: Closed
Thursday: 9–6
Friday: 9–4

I have such exciting news — I’ve officially been cleared by the cardiologist to begin returning to work! 🙌
My stress test went very well, and she was extremely happy with how I exercised. I’ll be returning very gradually, starting with one client in the afternoon every other day, then slowly increasing from there as my body adjusts.
I’m so relieved and excited to finally be at this stage of recovery. Thank you all so much for your patience, understanding, and support over the last several weeks. It truly means more than you know. 💛
I’ll be reaching out shortly as I begin opening up a limited number of appointments.
