A little look at what Iāve been up to latelyā¦
750 bars of soap. š¤
Made, cut, stamped and now curing.
Itās been a lot of soap. š
This what Iāve been up to lately š«£
A whole lot of soap.
Iām making 750 bars for something Iām really excited about, and Iām slowly working my way through them.
150 made so far⦠600 to go.
I canāt say what theyāre for just yet, but I canāt wait until I can š¤©
For now, hereās a little peek at whatās been happening around here.

I really do love all of it.
The making, the planning, the packing, putting together a beautiful gift set, market days, shipping orders and wondering where theyāll end up.
But one of my favourite parts is seeing the products after theyāve left me ā in someoneās bathroom, at their cottage, packed up as a gift, or hearing that something I made has become a favourite.
I started making these things for our family, so it still feels pretty amazing that theyāve found their way into so many other homes too. š¤
Iām grateful for every part of it.
One of my favourite things about making products is knowing they donāt just stay on my shelves.
A bar of soap might become someoneās everyday favourite, get tucked into a gift, end up at the cottage, often finding its way into a completely new home.
I make it here, and then it gets to become part of someone elseās everyday life.
Thatās the best part.
It all started with soap. šæ
I made it for us, then friends wanted some, and somehow it just kept growing from there.
Soap was the very first thing I made for Willow Valley, and after all these years, itās still one of my favourite things to create.
A lot has changed over the yearsānew scents, new designs, a whole lot more soapābut the reason I make it hasnāt really changed.
I love making something by hand that people actually want to use and reach for every day.
Still my first love. š¤

Pretty sure this is what summer smells like. šāļø
I get asked this question at almost every marketā¦
āWhich soap is your favourite?ā
My answer is always the sameā¦
āThatās like asking me to pick a favourite kid.ā š
The truth is, it changes.
šæ Honey Oat Lavender ā My gentlest bar. Honey, colloidal oats and coconut milk make it feel so rich and comforting, and the lavender, sweet orange and frankincense blend never gets old.
ā London Fog ā If youāve ever had a London Fog latte, youāll understand. Earl Grey tea and bergamot make this one feel warm, cozy and just a little indulgent.
š¤ Coffee Scrub ā Fresh coffee grounds, activated charcoal and cocoa. I always reach for this one after a day spent working with my hands or when I need a little exfoliation.
š Lemon Sorbet ā Lemon, rosemary and kaolin clay. Bright, fresh and the one that always makes my morning shower feel a little happier.
š¹ Charcoal Rose ā Activated charcoal and rose clay with a soft floral scent. Itās one of the first bars people pick up at my market table⦠and almost always the one they stop to smell.
Which one would you choose first? šæ
One of my favourite things about attending local events is the connections that come from them.
After the Beaumaris Yacht Club Ladies Night, I was invited to have Willow Valley Wellness products stocked at Willmotts. šæ
Iām so grateful for opportunities like this and for businesses that choose to support local makers. If youāre visiting Willmotts General Store , youāll now find a selection of Willow Valley Wellness products there!
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who stopped by at Ladies Night, and to the team at Willmotts for this opportunity. š¤
A few days late posting, but still feeling so grateful for this beautiful Muskoka evening.
We had the opportunity to be part of the Ladies Night at Beaumaris Yacht Club - a gorgeous event filled with lake views, curated vendors, cottage style and, and so many lovely conversations.
What made it even more special was getting to combine the event with a few days spent with friends at their beautiful Muskoka island property - soaking in the sunshine, nature walks, enjoying the lake, and being reminded why summer in Canada feels so special.
Weāve been working hard behind the scenes this season, but weāre also making space for the moments that inspire so much of what we do: time outside, simple rituals, good people, and beautiful places.
And this Muskoka trip brought one more exciting update too⦠more on that soon.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to stop by, chat with us, smell the blends, and bring a little Willow Valley Wellness home with them.
