What a weekend. 🤍

We had a jam-packed weekend in Edmonton for the Alberta Summer Games, and somehow everything lined up perfectly so I could sneak away for a couple of hours and attend Lash Bash.

From soccer sidelines ⚽️ to spending time with so many incredible artists, educators, and brands, my cup is so full.

I’m so grateful for this community, the friendships, the inspiration, and the reminder that this industry is so much more than lashes. ✨

Thank you, The Official LashBash and Mo, for creating a space that brings our lash community together. ❤️

A beautiful lash lift doesn’t end when you leave the studio — the health of your natural lashes plays a huge role in how well your lift lasts and how your lashes grow out.

Lash serums can be a great addition to your routine, but it’s important to understand the differences between them.

Prescription serums like Latisse contain prostaglandin analogues that extend the growth phase of the lash cycle. For some clients with naturally sparse or thinning lashes, this can be very effective when used under medical guidance. However, they may come with potential side effects for some users, including irritation, redness, or darkening of the eyelid skin.

Peptide-based conditioning serums, on the other hand, focus on strengthening and nourishing the lash rather than altering the growth cycle. These formulas are often packed with ingredients like keratin, collagen, biotin, hyaluronic acid, amino acids, and growth-supporting peptides to help condition, hydrate, and improve lash resilience.

The benefit is they’re typically gentler and focused on lash health — but they also work more gradually and rely on consistency over time.

Both approaches have their place. The key is choosing what’s right for your lashes, your goals, and your comfort level.

Healthy, nourished lashes will always lift better, hold their curl longer, and grow out more beautifully.

Before You Try A DIY Lash Lift… 🫣

• Lash lifting involves strong chemical solutions (some stronger than others!)
• Precision and proper placement are critical
• Here’s what most DIY kits don’t tell you…

Lash lifts may look simple, but they are actually a chemical service that alters the structure of your natural lashes. When done incorrectly—whether it’s improper rod placement, incorrect timing, or low-quality DIY products—the result can be over-processed, frizzy, or overly curled lashes that take weeks to months to fully grow out. As professionals, we are trained to assess lash health, choose the correct shields, and control processing times safely. Your lashes may be small, but they are still hair and deserve the same level of care and expertise you’d expect from any professional chemical service.

If you’re considering a lash lift, trust a trained professional who prioritizes lash health first.
And that being said , if you find yourself like one of these photos please reach out as anything can be improved or helped!! 🫶🏽🫶🏽

2026 INS & OUTS ✨

Out with the chaos.
In with the calm.
Out with the constant “busy.”
In with more real moments.

This year I’m choosing boundaries, rest, and a little more adventure — because the best things happen when you step out of your comfort zone.

Here’s to a year of growth, laughter, and more adventure’s 🚴‍♀️🐾🏠
(And yes… maybe some exciting goals too.)
