The scary thing about Jonasi Gomora is not that he cheated.

It's that most of us know a Jonasi.

A respected man.A successful businessman.A church member.A family man.

Someone everyone admires, but who has spent years learning that charm can cover poor character.

Jonasi wasn't created overnight.

He was built every time bad behaviour was excused.Every time accountability was replaced with, "Monna ke selepe or That's how men are or Atleast he comes home."Every time people laughed at what they should have challenged.

The lesson isn't simply "Don't cheat."

Marriage doesn't create character, it reveals it.

A life built on excuses eventually collapses under the weight of truth.
No matter how intelligent you are. No matter how successful you are. No matter how respected you are.
Character always collects its debt..

And eventually, no amount of success, money, or charm can save a person from the consequences of their choices.

Are we raising boys to be good men, or are we raising future Jonasis?

WHAT SMALL MONEY CAN DO WHEN WOMEN STAY CONSISTENT

Many women think investing needs big money.
The truth is it needs consistency, unity, and patience.

Let’s look at a simple example

Imagine a group of 100 women.
Each woman contributes P1,000 per month.

Year 1

➡️ P100,000 per month
➡️ P1,200,000 in one year

Already, this amount can:
✔ Buy into a local SME
✔ Start or acquire a profitable business
✔ Purchase income-generating assets
✔ Begin paying small monthly returns

But now… let’s talk about consistency.

Year 2 (same pattern, no increase)

Each woman still contributes P1,000 per month.
➡️ Another P1,200,000 added
➡️ Total contributions: P2,400,000

By this stage, the stokvel can:
✔ Expand the first business
✔ Add a second income stream
✔ Reinvest profits instead of spending them
✔ Start building reserves
✔ Increase member returns

Year 3

Still P1,000 per month. No pressure. No increase.
➡️ Another P1,200,000
➡️ Total contributions: P3,600,000

Now this is no longer just a stokvel
it is a women-led investment group.

At this level, women can:
✔ Own multiple businesses
✔ Create steady monthly income
✔ Support members during hard times
✔ Build assets instead of debts
✔ Create long-term family security

The real benefit is not just the money

It is:
💛 Financial discipline
💛 Collective decision-making
💛 Knowledge sharing
💛 Reduced dependency
💛 Confidence in money matters

The biggest mistake we make is stopping too soon.

We save once, spend once, and start again.
But wealth is built by staying the course.

At Mmamotse, we believe women already have the power.

What we need is structure, patience, and vision.

💛 P1,000 a month is not small when women move together
💛 Consistency turns saving into wealth
💛 Time is a powerful investment partner

Would you commit to something like this if it was transparent, well-managed, and focused on growth

FROM SAVING TO INVESTING

Most of us were raised to save money.
Save for December.
Save for school fees.
Save for emergencies.

And saving is important, very important.

But let’s be honest for a moment.

How many times have you saved all year…
only to spend everything in one or two months?
Then January comes and you are back at zero.

That cycle is exhausting.

In today’s economy, saving alone is no longer enough.
Money that only sits is slowly being eaten by rising prices.
Bread goes up.
Transport goes up.
School costs go up.

So the question is no longer:
“Can I save?”

The real question is:
“How can my money help me long-term?”

This is where the mindset shift comes in.

Saving asks:
➡️ “How do I protect this money?”

Investing asks:
➡️ “How do I make this money work for me?”

For women, especially mothers and wives, this is not about greed or risk.
It’s about wisdom.

It’s about asking:
• How do I reduce pressure in my home?
• How do I stop starting from zero every year?
• How do I build something small that grows quietly?

Investing doesn’t mean big banks or complicated language.

Sometimes it looks like:
✔ A stokvel that buys a small business
✔ A group that invests instead of dividing money
✔ Assets that bring income instead of stress
✔ Learning before acting

The biggest investment is not money.
It is changing how we think about money.

At Mmamotse, we believe women are capable of learning, deciding, and building, step by step.

💛 You don’t need to rush
💛 You don’t need to be perfect
💛 You don’t need to start big

You just need to start thinking differently.

So let me ask you gently:
Would you like to keep saving just to survive
or save with intention to grow?

WHY STOKVELS MUST CHANGE IN 2026 ✨

For many of us, stokvels have been a lifeline.
They have helped us buy groceries, pay school fees, and survive difficult months.

But in 2026, we need to ask an important question:

Is survival still enough?

Traditional stokvels usually pay out once a year.
We receive the money.
We use it on immediate needs.
And within weeks… it’s gone.

There is nothing wrong with that — but the economy has changed.

What if stokvels could do more?
What if instead of only helping us end the year, they helped us build the future?

This is where investment stokvels come in.

An investment stokvel is not just about saving.
It is about growing.
Pooling money to:
✔ Buy into a small business
✔ Invest in income-generating assets
✔ Fund SMEs together
✔ Create ongoing returns instead of one-off spending

Our parents used stokvels for survival.
Our generation must use them for growth.

2026 requires wisdom, strategy, and unity.
And women are more than capable of leading this shift.

At Mmamotse, we are reimagining stokvels
from emergency support to empowerment tools.

💛 Let’s talk about it.
Would you join an investment stokvel if you understood how it works?

✨UNDERSTANDING THE TIMES WE ARE IN ✨

BoMma, let’s talk honestly.

The economy is changing — not just in Botswana, but globally.
Jobs are not as secure as they used to be.
Prices keep rising.
And some of the systems we relied on before are no longer enough.

Botswana has long depended on diamonds to support the economy.
But today, diamond sales are slowing down.
Global demand is shifting.

And that means we can no longer rely on one source of income as a nation — or as families.
In the past, our parents and grandparents survived difficult times through community.
They pooled resources.
They shared knowledge.
They worked together.
That spirit is still powerful today — but it needs to be intentional and productive.

This is why conversations around stokvels, crowdfunding, skills, and small investments are no longer optional.
They are necessary.

As women, especially as mothers and wives, we must ask ourselves:
➡️ How do we protect our households?
➡️ How do we prepare for uncertainty?
➡️ How do we turn small money into long-term value?

Mmamotse exists to help women think differently not out of fear, but out of wisdom.

2026 is not the year to panic.
It is the year to plan, learn, and work together.
If you’ve been feeling like “something needs to change,”
trust that feeling — it’s wisdom speaking.

💛 Let’s have these conversations.
💛 Let’s build solutions together.
💛 Let’s rise together.
