With the upcoming changes around card surcharges and payment fees for small businesses, I’ve been taking a closer look at how payments work here at Bloom.

EFTPOS isn’t going anywhere, but rather than increasing my prices to absorb more of these costs, I’d love to start encouraging cash or bank transfer wherever possible. Every little saving helps me keep more of what you spend right here at Bloom. 🤍

So my preferred payment methods at Bloom will be cash or bank transfer, with EFTPOS still available if you need it.

This wasn’t a decision I made overnight, but ultimately I want to be thoughtful about where Bloom’s money goes. I’d much rather put it towards beautiful products, ongoing education, improving the salon and all the little things that make your appointments special.

It also means I can avoid unnecessarily increasing treatment prices simply to cover growing transaction costs, which is a big win in my books.

Bank transfer will be super easy and my details will be available at your appointment, so you can simply transfer before you leave. Cash will of course be very welcome too 🫶

I’m incredibly lucky that Bloom gets to exist because of the gorgeous people who choose to come through my door week after week.
