🚌 **A big thank you to Keppel Coaches!**

Getting everyone from A to B is no small task when your event stretches along our beautiful Capricorn Coast!

We're incredibly grateful to **Keppel Coaches** for once again supporting our Walk for Wellbeing by providing courtesy bus services for our walkers.

Their contribution helped make the logistics of the day that little bit easier, allowing participants to focus on what the Walk is really about — connection, community and wellbeing.

It's this kind of local support that helps bring an event like ours together, and we certainly couldn't do it without the generosity of businesses who get behind our community.

**Thank you, Keppel Coaches, for helping keep the wheels turning at our 5th Annual Walk for Wellbeing!** 💛

**A HUGE THANK YOU TO EMU PARK MEATS!** 🌭

There's nothing quite like a good old-fashioned sausage sizzle after a morning walking along our beautiful Capricorn Coast!

This year, we had 24kg of sausages to feed our hungry walkers at Kemp Beach, and the wonderful team at Emu Park Meats generously donated half of them!

That's a whole lot of sausages and a whole lot of community spirit!

We're incredibly grateful to Emu Park Meats for supporting our 5th Annual Walk for Wellbeing and helping us serve up a well-earned breakfast at the finish line.

It's the generosity of local businesses like yours that helps make community events like ours possible.

Thank you for being part of our Walk for Wellbeing family!

**A HUGE THANK YOU TO AUSSIE GOLD NATURAL SPRING WATER!** 💧

Keeping our community hydrated is no small task, especially when you've got hundreds of walkers making their way along our beautiful Capricorn Coast!

We're incredibly grateful to Aussie Gold Natural Spring Water for once again generously supplying the water for our 5th Annual Walk for Wellbeing.

From the water stop at Ross Creek right up to the finish line at Kemp Beach, having fresh drinking water available along the way helped keep our walkers hydrated and refreshed.

It's contributions like these that make such a difference to community events, and we're fortunate to have local businesses willing to step up and lend a hand.

Thank you, Aussie Gold, for helping us look after our walkers and being part of another wonderful Walk for Wellbeing!

**A HUGE THANK YOU TO OUR PLATINUM SPONSOR – ZEST HEALTH & WELLNESS!**

Some partnerships become a really special part of the journey, and this is certainly one of them!

For the third consecutive year, Zest Health & Wellness has generously supported the Walk for Wellbeing as our Platinum Sponsor.

Having a local business continue to stand alongside an event that is all about community connection, mental health and wellbeing means more than I can express.

It's this kind of ongoing support that helps us keep bringing people together, creating opportunities for connection and reminding our community that they belong.

A special thank you to Rachel for continuing to believe in what we're creating and for being part of our fifth annual Walk for Wellbeing.

Your generosity, encouragement and commitment to our community are genuinely appreciated.

Thank you for walking alongside us over the years and for believing in the vision. We're so grateful to have you as part of the journey!

**A HUGE THANK YOU TO OUR WALK FOR WELLBEING EVENT PARTNER – LIVINGSTONE SHIRE COUNCIL!**

Our 5th Annual Walk for Wellbeing was a milestone year in more ways than one, including receiving our very first event grant from Livingstone Shire Council!

This funding enabled us to promote the Walk more widely throughout our community and invest in event signage that will continue to be used for years to come.

For a community event that began as a little idea five years ago, this support means so much. It helps us continue creating opportunities for people to come together, connect and experience that wonderful sense of community and belonging.

A special thank you also goes to Acting Mayor Pat Eastwood, who joined us bright and early at Farnborough Beach to deliver a welcome speech before our walkers set off.

And he didn't stop there! It was wonderful to see him dropping in at both Lammermoor and Kemp Beach throughout the morning, taking the time to be part of the experience and see our community coming together along the way.

Thank you to Livingstone Shire Council for recognising the value of community-led events and supporting the 5th Annual Walk for Wellbeing.

Because it's always been about so much more than just a walk!

I’ve taken my time writing this year’s Walk for Wellbeing thank you post. Mainly because I wanted to savour the moments from yesterday while reflecting on just how far we’ve come in five years.

What began as a little thought of “Wouldn’t it be cool to organise a community walk during Mental Health Week?” has become something I could never have imagined.

Council had recently completed the beautiful pathways connecting Farnborough to Kemp Beach, and I’d seen community walks work so successfully in other areas. Yeppoon didn’t have anything quite like it, so I thought, why not?

The idea was simple. Connection and community over competition. An opportunity to enjoy our beautiful coastline, take in the scenery, stop along the way and, most importantly, connect with one another.

Fast-forward five years, and there I was yesterday morning, standing in front of around 200 members of our community, giving my welcome speech and trying to drink it all in.
