The centrepiece, a magnificent swimming pool for relaxation, and an analytic pool with 6 hydrotherapy exercise stations, combined with the 2 hydrotherapy spas, 3 body wrap wet-treatment rooms, 5 facial treatment rooms, 3 massage rooms and a vichy shower. Enrich yourself with a half day, full day or several-day program, or choose from one of our extensive range of packages. There are rejuvenating retreats for couples, and packages designed specially with conferences and bridal parties in mind. Choose from one of our standard packages or create one to suit your individual needs.

🎉 22nd September - Offical Public Opening
VELA Spa & Bathhouse will officially open to the public on Tuesday 22nd September. By this time you will be able to book directly on our website velaspa.com.au or by calling us 😊

Good Morning Everyone! You may be wondering why our Facebook name has not yet changed to VELA Spa & Bathhouse. Facebook have a minimum 60-day rule where we cannot change our business name more than once during this period. We have tried all we can to request an exemption through meta but unfortunately this has not been granted.
Long story short, we hope to have our page name updated to VELA Spa & bathhouse on 23 August 2026.

Hi everyone!
We have an important update to share regarding the name of our new spa & bathhouse.
Many of you have come to know us as AURA, however, after announcing the brand, we were notified of a trademark conflict that meant we could no longer move forward with that name.
While this wasn’t the change we had planned for, it was important that we respected the trademark process and found a name we could confidently build into the future.
The good news is that the vision, the experience, and everything we’re creating here remains exactly the same.
Today, we’re excited to introduce our new, new name: VELA Spa & Bathhouse.
VELA was actually one of our original shortlisted names during the branding process, so it already held a special place for us.
The name translates to “sails”, which we loved as a tribute to the Hawkesbury River and the morning mist that drifts through the valley each day. It also honours the river’s rich history as a vital water way connecting communities for centuries.
And for those who have been part of our journey for some time, the “V” is a subtle reminder of Villa Thalgo Day Spa, the much-loved destination that laid the foundation for what VELA is becoming today.
Thank you all for your understanding, your support, and for being part of this journey with us.

Our Bathhouse experience is refined and quietly social, a sanctuary to truly unwind and recover.
Offering a complete contrast therapy circuit, enjoy our magnesium-enriched mineral pools, traditional cedar sauna, steam room, Fire & Ice room (infrared sauna and cold plunge), and our outdoor thermal therapy zone with barrel sauna and plunge pool.
