Hi there,
I am fairly new to Warrnambool and would like to promote my Bowen Therapy business in Warrnambool and surrounding community. I am a Bowtec Bowen Diploma qualified therapist. I have been practising for 5 years now.
I also do Mobile Bowen, for an additional cost, depending on how far away you are. Prices are very reasonable.
Message me for an appointment. Thanks.

Families who seek out Bowen Therapy are also drawn to approaches that value connection, responsiveness, and working with natural processes rather than against them.
In the June edition of Bowen Practitioner News (Issue 86), Bowen Therapist Claire Holloway explores the fascinating parallels between Bowen Therapy and conscious parenting, including:
• Trusting innate self-regulating systems
• The principle of "less is more"
• Observation, attunement, and presence
• The importance of the pause
It's a thought-provoking article that highlights shared philosophies between Bowen Therapy and responsive parenting.
📖 BAA members can read Claire's full article in the June newsletter.

"Your issues are in your tissues."
It’s a phrase you may have heard — and it holds a lot of truth.
Our bodies remember.
Stress, emotion, and trauma can become stored in our muscles, fascia, and nervous system responses.
That’s why working with the body — gently and respectfully — can be such a powerful way to support emotional wellbeing.
Bowen Therapy isn’t just for physical complaints.
People have found that during times of grief, anxiety, overwhelm or transition, Bowen can offer a calm, grounded space to reconnect.
Because healing isn’t just about muscles.
It’s about the whole person. 💚

Many people expect bodywork to be about “doing more.”
More pressure. More intensity. More input.
Bowen Therapy is described differently by practitioners.
Not because less is being done, but because the focus shifts.
From force → to information.
From intensity → to response.
From doing → to observing.
In Bowen Therapy, less is more — and what matters is how closely the practitioner observes the body’s response.

Gentle input is not the same as doing nothing.
It still provides information to the nervous system.
It still creates a response.
It still requires integration.
Subtle work can still be highly specific and intentional.

Tension can be protective, responsive, or adaptive.
It can reflect what the body is managing, not just what is “wrong.”
Understanding this changes how we approach the body — with more curiosity, less force.

The body doesn’t treat everything in isolation.
A small, precise input can be interpreted through interconnected systems — fascia, muscles, nerves, posture.
That’s why subtle work can have broader effects than people might expect.
It’s not about intensity.
It’s about communication.

Bowen technique is a non invasive treatment, no drug. It's so gentle and most of the time, you won't feel the moves, but it's profound.
