💗✂️ IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT – NEW BOOKING DEPOSIT POLICY ✂️💗

To all my beautiful clients,

Firstly, I want to say a huge THANK YOU to each and every one of you for your continued love, loyalty and support of my little business. 💕

After much thought and consideration, I have made the decision to introduce a booking deposit policy for ALL colour services, effective immediately.

This isn’t a decision I’ve made lightly, but unfortunately, with the ever-increasing costs of running a small business, it has become a necessary step to protect my time, my income and the future of my salon.

💜 HOW WILL THE NEW POLICY WORK?

✨ A 50% deposit will now be required to secure all colour appointments.

✨ If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, I ask that you please provide at least 24 hours’ notice.

✨ Any appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in your deposit being forfeited.

✨ Failure to attend your appointment without notice will also result in your deposit being forfeited.

💗 WHY AM I INTRODUCING THIS POLICY?

As many of you know, running a small business comes with significant expenses. The costs of colour products, salon supplies, electricity, insurance and everyday business operations continue to rise.

When someone cancels at the last minute or doesn’t show up for their appointment, it has a much bigger impact than you may realise.

As a hairdresser, I set aside that time specifically for YOU. Colour appointments often require several hours of my day, and when an appointment is cancelled at short notice, it’s extremely difficult to fill that space.

Unfortunately, this means lost income for my small business, while my running costs remain the same.

But there’s another important reason for this change…

It’s also about being fair to my other clients. 💕

There are often clients waiting for an appointment who would absolutely love to take that time slot. When appointments are cancelled at the last minute or clients simply don’t turn up, those opportunities are lost, and other clients miss out on having their hair done.

I completely understand that life happens, emergencies arise and sometimes plans need to change. All I ask is that you please respect my time and give me as much notice as possible.

When you book an appointment with me, you’re not just booking a hair service. You’re reserving my time, my skills and a portion of my working day.

This salon is my livelihood, and every appointment matters.

I absolutely love what I do, and I love looking after all of you. My goal is to continue providing the same quality service, care and attention that you’ve come to expect from Devotion to Hair.

Thank you for understanding why this policy is necessary and for continuing to support my small business.
