I built my business before social media, before followers, I had to interact with people I didn’t know by asking them if they wanted a free service to build my skills. I had to call people the day before their appointment to make sure they remembered, no auto reminder, everything was penciled into an appointment book and all clients details were filed away in a filing cabinet. We did letterbox drops, posted on the community notice boards, word of mouth was a huge part of building. Every business around the area knew eachother by name and face and we all suppo eachother. These systems I loved as it’s not only built my business how it is today but its build who I am as a business owner and person! It’s all about the interactions the face to face where people feel seen!
