Well… that was a bit of a pinch-me moment. Two days looking after Steven Bartlett @thediaryofaceopodcast while he was here in Sydney. 🤍 Yesterday for the @fortunaoneofficial Global Summit, and then very grateful to be asked back to look after him again today for something else. When I first saw numerous calls coming through from a UK number, I genuinely thought it might be a scam. 😂 Because I tend to get quite a few these days haha Thankfully, I answered. And there’s probably a lesson in that. Answer the phone. Reply to the enquiry. Get back to people asap when you can. Because you genuinely never know who is on the other end or better yet what opportunity might be coming your way. One phone call turned into two days working with someone whose work and conversations reach millions of people around the world. After more than 20 years in this industry, I still have moments where I think… how cool is my job? Listen. Learn. Keep showing up.
