CommBank won’t let me withdraw my own money without a full police interrogation, but they’ll happily collect fees every time someone taps. No babe, we’re not doing that anymore.
PayID, bank transfer or cash only. Everything is still recorded for the ATO mafia I’m not committing tax fraud, I’m just breaking up with CommBank.
And before anyone gets angry and says, “But you can claim the fees back” please go open a business, pay wages, GST, super, insurance and tax on tax on tax… then come explain why small businesses keep getting absolutely fu**ed from every direction.

Well… the government has decided small businesses weren’t suffering enough, so here’s another little financial kick directly to the va**na. 😭
From 1 October, card surcharges are being banned but payment providers will still charge businesses processing fees.
So the fee didn’t disappear.
It just changed victims. How fu***ng magical.
Apparently we’re expected to absorb everything: rent, wages, super, products, insurance, electricity, merchant fees and the occasional mental breakdown in the staff bathroom.
At this point, I don’t own a business I own an expensive hostage situation with a Candela. 😭
So, moving forward, appointment payments will be accepted via:

Bank transfer
Cash
The EFTPOS machine will be laid to rest following a long, toxic and financially abusive relationship. In lieu of flowers, please transfer directly.
