This custom 630mm clock was handcrafted from a genuine reclaimed wine barrel head, with the customer’s own whisky bar design laser engraved directly into the oak.

They chose to include their street name, location and a meaningful established date—turning the clock into something completely personal to their home.

We love how the original grain and character of the barrel remain visible through the finished piece. No two barrel heads are ever exactly alike, which means no two clocks will be either.

Personalised engraving is included in the price of every clock.

A little sneak peek from the workshop… 🥃

We’ve been experimenting with detailed laser engraving directly onto glass for a brand-new product created especially for whiskey lovers.

The golden colour you can see is a test liquid inside the glass, used to imitate the look of whiskey and help us see how the finished engraving will appear once the product is filled.

It has taken plenty of testing to get the detail just right, but we’re getting very close to revealing the finished piece.

Pushing the limits of our laser engraver… 🔥

Laser engraving a flat piece of timber is one thing.

Engraving a design this size directly onto the curved surface of a genuine wine barrel is a whole different challenge.

But we do love a challenge. 😄

This custom Cicero Farm House engraving was created directly onto the face of one of our reclaimed wine barrels — and we couldn't be happier with how beautifully the detail has come through against the natural oak.

We're continually experimenting with what we can achieve with our laser engraving, giving our customers even more ways to make their Rustic Vibes piece truly their own.

Names, family monograms, property names, business logos or something completely unique — if you've got an idea, talk to us and we'll see what we can create.

This personalised set of acacia coasters is part of a customer’s order that’s just about ready to leave our Sydney workshop — and they’re also one of the first sets to feature our newly refined black inlay engraving process.

Acacia is such a beautiful timber, but its natural variations in grain, colour and density mean that traditional laser engraving can vary across each piece. Rather than accepting that as “just how timber engraves”, we’ve been experimenting with a way to achieve richer, more defined engraving while still allowing all that natural timber character to shine through.

Each design is precision laser engraved directly into the solid acacia before being carefully sealed. We then work a rich black wax into the engraved detail by hand, wipe and buff each coaster individually, and finish them with a protective hard wax.

The result is that gorgeous deep black detail against the warm acacia grain — and because every piece of timber is different, no two coasters are ever quite the same.

And because they're made to actually be used, not just look pretty, we also put the new finish through a water and condensation test before we were happy to send them out. 💧🥃

It adds a few extra steps to what was already a handcrafted product, but we think the difference is absolutely worth it.
