Australiaās sun is strong and SPF 15 doesnāt meet it. If you wear makeup daily, switch to a tinted SPF 50 as your base layer. Foundation goes over the top. Simple swap, real difference. āØ
Beach day or a full day outside? Drop the foundation. Skin needs full coverage SPF, a hat, and sunnies. Nothing else comes close. š¤
Pigmentation, redness, and a lot of the skin concerns El sees in clinic start with the sun. This is the easiest thing you can fix. āļø

Some of the best things for your skin have nothing to do with what's in your makeup bag.
Cold mornings with ice globes, a daily lymphatic drainage massage when your face feels puffy, the routine sauna session, and dry brushing before you shower. None of it's topical skincare, yet with consistency all of it shows up on your skin. š«§
The most common question El hears in clinic: where do I even start? š¤
If you have nothing, start here. A cleanser, a serum, and a moisturiser. Morning and night. Thatās the foundation of every good skin routine.
If youāre going to invest in 1 product, make it your serum. Itās what actually changes the skin. Lightweight, water-based, designed to go deep into the epidermis. āØ
Your moisturiser is the lid that locks it all in. The 2 always work together. Donāt skimp on either.
Once you have those 3 down, then you add in the extras. Enzyme exfoliant, eye cream, masks. But not before. š«§
Start simple. Build from there. āļø
