Heavy upper eyelids can be something you’ve always had, but they often become more noticeable with age.

This patient had always had heavy upper eyelids, but the excess skin had become more obvious recently. She underwent a standard upper blepharoplasty under local anaesthesia, removing the excess upper eyelid skin to restore a more open, refreshed look.

The photos show her before surgery, immediately after, and one week later when she returned to have her sutures removed. Some swelling is still settling at this stage, which is normal. We will share her 6-week photo, the final result, in a few weeks.

Some warts can be particularly stubborn, resisting multiple rounds of treatment over the years.

This 7-year-old patient had a finger wart that had been treated multiple times previously by a GP, a podiatrist, and even a surgeon, without lasting success. She underwent a single same-day laser treatment using our laser wart removal technique, and the photo taken 6 weeks later shows excellent clearance.

This case is a great reminder that even long-standing, treatment-resistant finger warts can be successfully treated with the right approach.

Not every patient is a suitable candidate for surgical lower eyelid surgery, but that doesn't mean nothing can be done.

This patient presented with fine wrinkles in the lower eyelid area, but was assessed as having a high risk of ectropion, making her unsuitable for traditional lower blepharoplasty. Instead, CO2 laser resurfacing was used to tighten the skin and smooth out the fine wrinkles non-surgically.

The result was very satisfactory, with noticeably tighter, smoother skin in the lower eyelid area. Some redness remains a few weeks on, which is a normal part of the healing process and will continue to settle with time.

This case highlights how non-surgical lower eyelid rejuvenation can work well for patients who aren't suitable candidates for surgical lower eyelid procedures.

Larger moles on the forehead can be a prominent cosmetic concern, but laser removal can still be a very effective option.

Thread lift offers a non-surgical way to rejuvenate the upper eyelids for patients not ready for, or not wanting, traditional surgery.

A torn earlobe doesn't always heal permanently the first time, especially if it's re-injured before it's fully settled.

This patient's earlobe had originally torn due to an earring accident and was repaired, but unfortunately tore again afterward. We offered a same-day repeat repair of the torn earlobe under local anaesthesia, giving her a prompt solution without a long wait for a second procedure.

Recurrent tears can happen, particularly if the area is knocked or put under strain again before the tissue has fully healed, but a further repair can generally be carried out successfully.

A cyst that keeps returning every few months is often a sign that residual cyst tissue was left behind during a previous treatment.

This patient had a recurrent cyst in the lower abdomen, flaring up roughly every 6 months. To finally resolve the issue, the residual cyst tissue and the entire cyst sac were completely excised under local anaesthesia, ensuring nothing was left behind that could cause it to return.
