With every wrap and gentle movement, we soften the pelvis, sacrum & lower back preparing the body to open life’s portal 🌿

The more I work with rebozos, the deeper my love grows for them… and the more I honour the wisdom of traditional Mexican midwives who have carried this practice through generations

✨ Today was hard to return to the outer world.

Yesterday, I was initiated into birth… into the magical portal of life arriving through to Mama Earth 🌱

I sit in reverence for how life presents itself, grateful to be in the right place, at the right time, with the right people.

Birth reminded me once again: how undisturbed it can be, how it flows with ease, pain, and everything in between, how prayers are strong medicina, how true space holding leaves no room for judgment & how deeply everything is connected

Birth is messy, raw, instinctive, and sacred, beyond what words can fully capture.

Today, as I massaged a mama stepping into her second birth journey, I was reminded how much I love holding space for women in their many stages, transformations & cycles.
Each one a universe ✨

This moment will stay with me always. ☀️🌙

And deep gratitude to myself to have walked along Andean and Mexican parteras in the last couple of years. The magic of the rebozo was very alive plus many other rituals and ceremonies 🔥

It’s been an honour to walk this bodywork path for 4 years.
To witness transformation. To hold space. To listen deeply.
And I’m so grateful for every soul who’s stepped into this space with me. 🤍
