The salon will be closed from 18th–26th August.

With everything that has been happening over the past few weeks, I’ve realised I need to take some time away from the salon to process everything, be with my family and navigate through everything that is going on.

At the moment, I’m not in the right headspace to be at work and I need to give myself the time to deal with everything that has happened rather than trying to push through.

I’m so sorry to everyone whose appointments have been affected and for any delays with messages, calls and rescheduling.

If you do need your hair done during this time, you’re more than welcome to book in with either of the Mels at the salon if they have availability. If they’re unable to fit you in, I’m also more than happy to provide your colour card/formula so you can have your hair done elsewhere.

The curling class scheduled for this Friday will also be cancelled for now. We will organise a new date for the class in September or October and I’ll share the new details as soon as they’re confirmed.

The salon will reopen from Thursday 27th August.

The salon will be closed today as we say goodbye to my father-in-law, Paul, and will reopen on Monday.

I’m very sorry for the delay in replying to messages and returning calls over the past couple of weeks. I have been extremely overwhelmed with everything that has happened, and although today is the funeral, there is still a lot going on for our family and will be for some time.

I just want to say a huge thank you to all of our beautiful clients who have shown so much love, patience and support to myself, Jake and his family during such an incredibly difficult time. Your messages, kindness and understanding have meant more to us than you probably realise, and we truly love and appreciate you all.

I’m sorry again for any delays or inconvenience, and I appreciate your patience while we try to navigate everything that is happening.

We will be back open Monday. 🤍
