I’ve had so many beautiful comments about these photos, and honestly, they’ve meant more to me than people probably realise 🤎

When you own a business, people see the beautiful hair, the photos, the salon, the busy days and the exciting new things… but they don’t always see the person behind it all.

I’m someone who cares. A lot. Probably too much sometimes 😂 I put my heart and soul into my work, I’m constantly learning, creating, trying to improve and wanting every person who sits in my chair to leave feeling amazing.

And because I care so much, the hard days come home with me too.

I can tell myself “it’s business, don’t take it personally” a hundred times, but I’m still a person. I replay things, I overthink and sometimes things hurt. Even when I know I need to put my business owner hat on and keep moving.

But then there are the beautiful messages, the transformations, the clients who trust me, my team, and those moments where I look around and think holy s**t, I actually built this.

And that’s what makes me love it.

So thank you for all the love lately. 🤎 Behind Halo is just a girl who genuinely loves what she does, has a big personality, cares probably a little too deeply and is doing her absolute best to create something she’s proud of.

Business requires thick skin. I’m still working on that part. 🤎

Halo was never just about doing beautiful hair.

It’s been built on education, finding better solutions, asking more questions and creating an experience that feels completely personalised to the person sitting in my chair.

What started as a vision for a salon has grown into extensions, hair-loss solutions, wigs, toppers and so much more.

And somehow, I still feel like I’m only just getting started.
